Excellent rework of a classic game. The level of effort and care was impressive.
Xen is significantly better, having an actual plot and some much better game design.
Awesome job they did but I felt Zen went for too long myself.
I agree, although it was still a definite improvement and I felt they nailed the boss fights.
Will i ever see hl3 before my demise?
I'd be happy with HL Alyx, but it's only playable with VR.
Wonder if they'll ever include ray tracing on Black Mesa.
I've been wanting this for so long, but last time I checked in I think it was still unfinished. Looks like it's all done now, so I purchased it finally as it's one of my all time favourite games. Thanks Thaal Sinestro!
I recall playing it when it was free? I think once they added the Xen stuff it became paid
On a related note, check out half life mmod (it's on steam) if you want to play original half life with a bit more improvement and polished if that's more of your thing (and it's free too!)

There's a decent co-op mod out there for this as well, really good fun and quite often hilarious if you've got someone to enjoy it with.
Well worth getting. One of the best FPS games I've played and they fixed the tedious Zen level here.
HL 1 is the greatest game ever made. This remake is an enhancement. What a bargain.
Great game and the additional work they put into Xen was amazing. It is many times bigger than the original.
