Design looks like a paper plate

When you want your fine China to look as cheap as possible!

  • What will someone do with an 18 cms bowl? It almost looks like a plate with some curve. Would have been better with soup bowl instead of this.

Textured surface will make cleaning a lot more difficult.

  • Perfect for pizza night :)

Pay a bit more and buy their Bone China instead of porcelain.

Edit: We've had 2 x 2 full sets of Cashmere. First lot is 10 years old and still great.

  • Had the white basics for years and they held up well. Bought a contemporary design and it chips to buggery. For your "everyday driver" I suggest a thicker, dorkier style that will stand up to abuse.

    • Agree! Received a few sets 20 years ago as a wedding gift and still going strong. Can confirm they don't chip easily, a family of klutz's

    • Do you mean this basic style on sale here, or another one?

      • Ahh my bad, I didn't realise "white basics" was almost like a sub brand and there are dozens of styles within that. I'd choose the thickest/chunkiest looking ones because their contemporary designs do not stand up to daily use.

  • I have these, but was as a gift. Reasonable quality. I think it's a good deal!

  • That RRP has to be a joke.

    • It is. This stuff is poor quality.

  • Been this price for several weeks now. But I liked them and bought a second set.

    • I dropped a Corelle plate on concrete, not a chip. Great investment.

Yes they're fantastic and also stack very tight to take up little space. Someone put me onto them years ago and I always keep the same
