  • I love this keyboard

    • -1

I wanna get my hands on it too but will be patient until it drops even further.

    • And i hate the keyboard at my office.

  • pretty good keyboard - using one now
not as good as a full stroke mechanical but the dips in the keys give a good tactile feel
    Paid $149 :(

    • 149 still worth

    • +1

I Paid $153 a year ago and didnt regret it.

Dont worry if you put it to good use its considered worth the money.

Just think of it as this way.

I've used it pretty much every day for an average of 10 hours a day x 7 days x 48 weeks ( 4 weeks annual leave not included).

So that will be $153 divided by 3360 hours which means currently it costs me 4 cents an hour to use the keyboard but this rate will continue to drop the more I use it.
Hopefully that will make you feel better if you think of it that way LOL

  • This or MX mechanical?

      • +1

        Thank you Sir.

    • Do you prefer standard or mechanical keys?

      • Any is fine, just a good typing experience.

        • +1

I use the mini version of this keyboard for work and it's great. I use a mechanical keyboard for gaming, but prefer to type on standard keys.

          • @magic8ballgag: Great advice, thank you :)
I need it for work too, might go with this one.

    • +1

Have both MX Keys mini and mechanical mini (brown / tactile quiet)
I prefer the mechanical but am by no means a heavy user.

      • Thanks for your input, leaning towards full sized MX keys, will compliment the MX 3.

worst keyboard that I have used.

backlight is a disaster … everytime you type, you have to wait for the backlight to turn on.

    • +1

you can control the backlight via the app…

    • +1

Is backlight even that important anyway? We made do without for decades

    • You using adapter or Bluetooth? Bluetooth will always been delayed.

  • Great keyboard. Got one for free from work (the MX master mouse that came with it is meh). I prefer mechanical (browns) but this keyboard is solid and types well. And has heaps of features. Switching bluetooth inputs is super quick, maybe 2s delay max.

  • Does anyone use this for gaming and would recommend?

I recently got a Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini (yellow switches) and I cannot get use to it. It's so sensitive and I make too many typos.

I've been trying to get used to it, but I just can't, it's also a nightmare for work related stuff due to typos.

I just want a keyboard which is great for both work and gaming, doesn't need to be fancy - but wireless if possible.

The reason for my Razer purchase was due to being wireless and compact, and it looks like this Logitech is in a similar boat

    • look into the the logitech g915 TKL - average to type in but its the best of both worlds for work and gaming if keypad non required.

      • thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out and there is ample stock which is always a good thing (as this keyboard is giving me the shi*ts)

    • +2

I was in the same situation- my Razer Blackwidow v3 mini would frequently double/triple type. Was driving me crazy with the erroneous password entries.

I decided to get a hot swappable keyboard instead of one from the big brands. I ended up getting the Nuphy Air96. So far it’s been great, though will take some time to adjust to the different size/layout.

      • Thanks for that info - out of curiosity, where did u purchase the Air96 from? A quick google search shows mostly sold out on their website I can't find any stockists in Australia

        • I got it from their website. It frequently comes back in stock in batches every couple of weeks. I ordered mine at the end of April. Before hand, I signed up to be notified when they were back in stock.

          • @darkness: Thanks for that info - I'll keep a look out, What switches did you get with your Air96? It seems that the Wisteria switches have the most typing force of the 3 new switches that exist (the other 2 being Aloe and Daisy)

    • Seems like you need a palm rest. Probably hovering over keys to compensate for the height.

      • Fair call, I don't have a palm rest but I might pick a cheapo up today from either jbhifi or officeworks (I assume they stock them) and see how it goes. I also just removed the heightened plugs at the back, so it's now fully flat and it seems better (less typos as I type this) - but that could just be a placebo effect

  • Anyone with a pc and Mac, how’s it handle the switching??

    • +1

Perfectly. Virtually instant, no glitching. I use this feature all the time.

I have Bolt receivers in both my MacBook and windows laptop.

  • Lovely keyboard, use it FT with work and it hasn’t skipped a beat!

  • If you also need an MX Master 3s, this might work: https://www.pcbyte.com.au/p/logitech-mx-bundle-logitech-mx-k…
