Hikoki Framing & Finishing Nail Gun + 3 Batteries Combo Kit $1099 Delivered (Was $1599) @ Sydney Tools

110

Great deal for a Framer and Finishing Nail Gun Combo Kit. Normally, the Framer in a kit goes for $999. I use this Framing Nailer for work and it's been great not having to service or refill with gas. If the batteries are charged and the nails loaded in the gun fires with no issues every time. Be mindful that since this is a gasless Nail Gun + Finisher, the tool will weigh more than the Paslode Gas alternatives. This is the only drawback I have heard from other Chippies that have used electric nail guns.

Tips:
- Currently, Sydney Tools and Trade Tools have the same deal. Call Sydney Tools and explain that Trade Tools sell the same kit for the same price DELIVERED and they will most likely offer a price beat. I called my local Sydney Tools today and they offered this kit for $1070.
- If you're an Apprentice, you likely won't be doing any finish work so either sell the Finish Nailer or keep it for later use. The Finish Nailer is currently going for around $350 - $450 on Facebook Marketplace (near my area; yours may be different).
- Make sure to register your tools at Hikoki to get 6-year extended warranty

Hey Ozbargain community I'm a third-year apprentice carpenter, my partner Shiv and I have developed a website that streamlines the process of finding, comparing, and saving money on tools. We've included prices from popular retailers like Total Tools, Sydney Tools, Bunnings, and many more.

We're aware that the tool market can be a bit confusing, so that's why we created Tool Price Check to bring some clarity. Our goal is to provide a one-stop destination where you can find great deals on tools while also learning about the performance and user satisfaction of various brands. This way, you can make informed purchasing decisions and invest in tools that are both reliable and durable.

Hopefully, we can help you save a couple of bucks on your next tool purchase!

  • How do you get 3 batteries? The listing states you get:

    1x HiKOKI NT1865DBAL(H4Z) 18V Li-Ion Cordless Brushless 65mm DA Series 15GA Finish Nailer - Skin Only
    1x HiKOKI NR1890DBCL(H4Z) 18V Li-Ion Cordless Brushless 90mm Strip Framing Nailer - Skin Only
    1x HiKOKI BSL36A18 18V - 36V 5.0Ah - 2.5Ah MultiVolt Battery Pack
    1x HiKOKI UC18YSL3(H0Z) 14.4V - 18V Li-ion Rapid Battery Charger with Cooling & USB Port

Spend $999 to $1299 and receive charger and battery.

    So total 2x batteries.

    • yea, im not a rocket surgeon, but i count 2 also.

    • +3

You receive 2 Batteries with the Kit at the time of purchase, since your purchase was above $999 you are entitled to redeem your purchase on the website to receive the 3rd battery + charger from Hikoki. They mail it to you, usually takes around 1-2 weeks to receive it.

I'm not entirely sure where you a getting the info for just receiving one battery as my listing states that you receive 2 batteries at the time of purchase.

you can verify this by checking the listing on trade tools which states that you get 2 batteries at the time of purchase or you can call Sydney Tools to verify: https://www.tradetools.com/hikoki-18v-multivolt-brushless-co…

**2 Batteries at the time of Purchase + 1 Battery Via Redemption for Spending over $999 = 3 Batteries all together. **

      Hope that helps.

  • So the same price as Trade Tools.
I am guessing TT would price beat as well.

    • Nope, I already called and checked. they do not price beat, they only price match. But each store seems to have its own rules, it won't hurt to ask.
