Seems a bit expensive, but I drink a lot of beer. I have a Thermos stainless steel one but it's not great with bottles. I refuse to use the neoprene ones.

I consulted the Camels: https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B0966C3Y5M

Brushed Stainless only, apply the 5% coupon. Please drink responsibly.

Have you tried a Yeti Colster? Couldn’t live without mine. Assume this is the same.

    • No, got a link?

        dude, google

When I recommend an alternative, I try to provide more info like pros and cons, specs, maybe even a link.

          Like this.
The have a slim 250ml version, but may not fit 330/345ml bottles. :(

@BewareOfThe Dog: I dig the seafoam green 375ml. That's a pro, here are the cons:

            • kitchen grade stainless so prob 304
            • doesn't fit bottles
            • no bottle opener
            • gasket sold separately. Does it even do anything significant? If so, why not integrate it into the design?

I really like seafoam green anything, and would buy it if it was $32 delivered, despite the cons. Thanks for the link.

@rosebank: Tempting, but my beer doesn't last long enough to get cold.

            • @rosebank: I own one and love it, here's my thoughts:

              doesn't fit bottles

I've had great luck with 330ml bottles by either:
putting the bottle cap at the bottom (it pushes it up just enough hold inplace) or
using the can container it comes with ( Link to Video

              no bottle opener

              Agreed this would be nice.

gasket sold separately. Does it even do anything significant? If so, why not integrate it into the design

The gasket comes with it but you can buy them separately incase you lose/damage the original one, which is great.

Ps the link above is for the Gen1 there is a new verision with a more low profile gasket: Link

              • @devondale16: Thanks for linking the gen 2. I don't mind the price, and would like a seafoam one, but I looked at 10 sites and I can't get any with free shipping and no BCFs near me have stock. so I cbf

@BewareOfThe Dog: I imported the slim and the extra tall versions. Bad idea, neither fit any size can I’ve found here in AU.

            • @AaronR: Its hard to find stubby coolers designed for Premium beer that's usually 330/345ml, especially at a good price.

  • What is difference with this one? Thermos Stainless Steel Can Insulator, 355ml, https://amzn.asia/d/gTy4lOb

I used it for a year. Perfect. I also diy a upper cover with a thin car carpet linear material to cover the upper part of the bottle.

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/ideal-diy-1m-velour-venise-grey-…

    • That's the one I have and it's good with cans. Maybe different grade of stainless, if it doesn't say, it's most likely 304. And maybe double vs triple insulation. Hard to say because the Thermos one doesn't really get into the technical shit.

may as well spend the $40 on a yeti. be careful though there addictive im onto my 4th one now

  • This one has 5% off as well . Don't know how good it is:

FROSTIFY Stubby Holder | 3 in 1 Alloy Steel Wine Chiller - Premium Insulated Beer Bottle Holder and Can Cooler with Beer Opener for Beer Lovers | Keep Your Beer Colder (Black) https://amzn.asia/d/8Yklc6c

    • Looks a bit unwieldy with too many parts. My first swig takes care of the neck when I drink bottles anyway so that top part is useless to me.

These guys have been spamming me relentlessly for a few weeks now. So I'll pass.

I've got a few of these and also a Yeti - I definitely prefer these over the Yeti

Thanks for this. Had my eye on these for a while now waiting for a sale. Some friends had them on a recent Camping trip. Impressed.

    Damn. All gone. That's fast…

I have this Huski one, it's really good. Keeps cans and bottles cold and the rubber top makes fitting different sized cans and bottles easy. Even has a removable bottle top opener in the base.

  • +2

waste of money. just drink your beer faster

    • Yo, don't encourage me, I'l already drinking half a slab a day. Lucky I don't have many open bottles of whisky at home

      • +1

Haha didn't see who it was when I said that, but I stand by it even more now.

Na take care of yourself mate!
My mate has one of these and they're pretty good tbh.
