Is Sony Bravia X90K 65" Still a Good PS5 TV for around $2000?

I ordered the X90K 65" + delivery through JB for just under $2000. But I'm having a second thought. Is it a still a good TV for PS5? Am I better off cancelling the order and then wait for another deal on another TV, hopefully soon?

Yes it's a good full-array LED TV for an upper mid-range class. Not quite as good as an OLED of course but supports PS5 4K120 and VRR modes.

It's $1795 at JB and that's before discounts/gift card so hopefully you got it quite a bit below $2,000.

  • Waiting for it to be sub 1500 for the 75"

I think it's a good TV for what I paid during the Easter sales for the X90k which was $1292 matched from Bing Lee. I think for $2000 it isn't a good choice and you should cancel the order.

  • well have you done your research? Searching review in google/youtube can be a good start

Funny that you say that given 6 days ago you were in the same position asking people what is a good monitor for PS5. I guess you are a changed man/woman/trans?

Glad that you learned something from the OZB community.

    • Yes, I have. I value personal experience and opinions more than Youtube review videos and Internet articles. Thanks for your suggestion.

  • Yes it's a good TV for the PS5, I own the 55" version and have been loving it. I use the PS5 and the Xbox Series X with it. I had to go into the HDMI settings and turn on Variable Refresh rate to get that feature but it does work flawlessly and easy setup all things considered.

Not at $2000, it has been $1395 + Cashrewards.

The 75" has been just under $2K

    • I have no space for a 75" TV. The price I paid for the TV is about $1750, the extra $200 is for delivery and installation.
