Would love to sign up to Optus but they have so many ID requirements that stop me from signing up. It's like I'm ordering Alcohol from them.
Belong is shit and I'm really itching to switch.

Exetel - except you need to give 30 days notice to leave. That part is annoying.

  • I couldn't get to the page to enter my address to check the availability.

  • 250 is $89 for the first 6 months, bonus 32K FB points
1000 is $119 for the first 6 months, bonus 38K FB points

  • My NBN is FTTP. When changing supplier, does the new service be activated on the same port and the old service disconnected at the same time? Or new service will be in a different port and I need to arrange with the old provider to cancel the service?

      Most of the time a…

new service will be in a different port and I need to arrange with the old provider to cancel the service

There are some ISPs that let you do this…

new service be activated on the same port and the old service disconnected at the same time

When you sign up Optus asks if you want it on a new port. Do this and give yourself a few days leeway before cancelling the original isp. I switch all the time and haven't had any issues thus far YMMV.

I guess they can't leak my data twice right

Leak me once, shame on you… leak me- you can’t leak me twice!

  • I am going to use my old modem from Exetel. How does Optus NBN work? Do they give you login and password like other providers before they connect you?

    • no username and password given like Exetel. Choose Dynamic or IPOE in your modem settings

      • I'm on FTTC and I have to type username and password for Exetel.

  • Did anyone find the info until when this promotion is running? Still on the origin deal and need to stick with them for ~30 days more to get the bonus.

Can you place an order now and set the connect date to a future date?

  • Can we switch easily from Spintel to optus. I have a belong modem and an eero 6.

  • Do we also get $60 cashback from SB?

  • How does optus compare to AussieBB, Superloop and leaptel? Looking to churn early June

  • It seems that this offer is still available or being offered again.

  • can't seem to find any details about the offer's expiry date
