These are dreadful. They are so firm and pointy, not god for poking in your ear. These offended me so much I paid extra for the Q-Tip branded ones at Costco.

If God pokes you in the ear, be sure to repent for your waxiness. For it is written that only God should poke something in your ear smaller than your elbow

        That's what she said.

This is what people say who are unaware of the disgusting amount of wax build up in their ear that everyone else has to stare at

People clean their ears in public?

      • +1

I bought these last week and i have to agree, They are rubbish.

    • -5

People still use these to clean their ears 😱 You’re doing more harm than good by pushing the wax deeper.

        Well i am 57 and
        1: still alive
        2: never had ear problems
        3: have no hearing problems
        4: have clean ears
5: Used cotton buds since birth

Please explain how we do not see millions of ear injuries then???

@PainToad: Jeebus, i must know a lot of lucky people then because funnily i do not know anyone who has suffered illness by cotton bud! I also do not understand people living with unreasonable paranoia just because they have seen an informercial on TV pushing some cheap plastic tat

      • I use a bobby pin to scoop that funk out.

I think the warning on the packet not to stick them in your years is just a liability thing. The only reason people buy these is to either stick them in their ears or to clean the pieces on their bongs.

    • Are the Qtips paper or plastic stem?

On the lookout for premium buds

      • I think paper. They feel like standard buds, but compared to these cheap ones I didn't want tot take any chances. Q-Tip brand is so popular in the US it's a generic term for buds over there. Costco sell them in huge containers so you might want to divide it up into zip lock bags to help keep them sterile.

  • Cheers OP, i was running low from one of the previous deals 👍

  • Thanks OPeee. YIppee!

  • Got two. Thanks OP

My advice don’t order with something heavy Amazon packing getting bad lately. Last weeks order https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/160676/103669/img_0047…

    • That's comical. I would've gotten a good laugh with that.

    • Oh shit… I knew ordering a 16kg kettlebell with these was a bad idea.

    • OMG, that pic just cracked me up and i needed a good laugh 🤣
I ordered 3 of them and they arrived in a satchel!!! All the lids popped off and maybe 30 odd sitting at the bottom of the satchel. I obtained a refund and kept the items. Shit packaging

  • The paper sticks on these suck, it makes them too firm.

  • Thanks, OP; got one.

  • Ordered a couple previously, the cotton buds had black specks of dust/dirt on them and the lid was sealed. Returned immediately the next day after I received them

  • An ear-resistible deal!

  • these are the ones that always have the seals broken on arrival
