$4.95 Original Mashies Fill Up available in-stores and on the app which includes: 4 Mashies, 1 Original Tender, 1 Wicked Wing, Regular Chips, and Regular Gravy.
You can also get the 6 piece for $4.95, the 12 piece for $7.95, and the Mashies Burger Box for $14.95.

Probably the issue here is a lot more KFCs compared to Red roosters. My one that I'm close to for lunch is a few hundred metres compared to over 10km for red rooster.
Tbf the last deals were RR $5 Crunch Box (2pc fried chicken + chips) vs KFC $5 Wings Box (2 wings, chips, roll, P&G).
Feel KFC have to make up for that terrible value deal somehow.
My nearest RR is 150kms away, KFC is just down the road
The last time I had red rooster was in 2006, and my chicken burger was snatched by a seagull in darling harbour area.

Yea $5.45 for 253 kJ haha. Regular p&g which is the same price isn't much better at 296 kJ.
Keep in mind that they use the regular p&g tubs for the gravy these days, they used to have tubs like twice as large for gravy.
They have been doing that for a while.
Problem with p&g is that there's not enough gravy in it and becomes very dry quickly.
The main problem is that both components are disgusting tasting flour pastes, and cost stupid prices.

Ah good old worthless Aussie dollar. When I first worked at KFC it was $2 for 3 wicked wings. now its flipped to $3.45 for 2. Thats 5x price increase since 2006/07 lol.

Why do these boxes always have wicked wings, can they be subbed out?
I'm not sure they would let you sub them for anything in this deal. In the bigger boxes you can sub the 3 wings for 1 regular piece and it usually drops the price by $1.
Ordered some of the boxes today, good value I reckon. No option to swap, but you might get a cashier in-store who would be willing.

Kinda. They are the KFC mash potato, coated in the chicken herbs and spices and fried. They're not bad when dipped with their gravy.

Damn I never thought they'd bring the mashies back. Had a fill up box for lunch today and they're exactly how I remembered them!
Having said that, two bits of chicken isn't enough to balance out all the potato in the box. It'd be better if they'd swap the chips for another tender or wing.

I was excited to have them back and thought they were terrible. Really overworked potato. Gummy and heavy little extruded water tank shaped things. I remember these things being delicate and round like they were scooped.
Yeah I had them again with the missus for dinner and they were much worse this time around. Seems like the quality can vary unfortunately…
We recovered by going to Kingsley's and enjoying a croquette there with some chicken and chips. Pure cold weather endulgence.
With the jacked up prices I only really get these fillup boxes or whatever else is decent on special.

Good question, I never asked, will try next time.
Alternatively, the order confirmation email has order number, date and time. You just need to know the store number, either find out from a team member, or use a store that you know, doesn't look that it's extensively validated.
