No, you're thinking of Mary-Anne's Hammocks, in the Hammock district.

An upvote, and a question.. How long have you been waiting for the right time to use that line??

haha if you start following my daily shitposting here you will see i am always randomly shoe-horning golden era simpsons quotes into replies

  • Looks like it stacks with the clickfrenzy sale they have going on atm.

edit: just don't use the additional 10 and 5 percent codes as they aren't listed on cashrewards.

  • The Click Frenzy Mayhem additional 10% off deal is being advertised on Cashrewards, but it doesn’t specifically mention the ‘MAYHEM’ code you need to use to get it. Does this mean using the code will invalidate the cashback, or not?

Not to poo-poo on the deal but have a look at Google reviews left for Emma sleep prior to ordering

    and here on product reviews

    my personal experience here

  • I bought one of these mattresses a few months ago and it's been fantastic. It took longer than expected for it to decompress after shipping and the ends needed a bit of massaging to fully puff up, but it's a joy to sleep on now. Shipping was damn fast too.

  • Dont do it. these people should be banned. Dont believe choice reviews.
If they are free still don't, it will just be land fill.
Save yourself a year of hassle.

I have a mattress factory so I can share my opinions about this type of mattress.

Cheaper mattresses in a box all have a similar issue. They aren't thick enough to distribute weight away from your hips and shoulders.

It doesn't mean you shouldn't buy one, however it's good to manage expectations so you are not let down when you recieve it.
In my opinion, these thinner cheaper mattresses in a box may suit people that -

    • are young-ish. Rule of thumb, under 30. The older we get, the more our connective tissues break down, the more important it is that our mattress distributes pressure correctly. You think that old double sided mattress you had when you were younger was perfect? possible, however it's more likely that your older now, and your body requires a better mattress fit in order to sleep well. The older, and more creaks you have, the harder it will be to find the right mattress.

    • Fall asleep on your stomach. Only about 10% of us do this. This is because when you sleep on your stomach you don't require much contouring. In-fact it's bad to have to much contouring, you want something nice n flat. So one of these might work perfectly for you.

    • Lighter. Say you are under 75kg, and you don't mind a firm mattress, one of these may work for you. The heavier we are, the more gravity pushes our bodyweight onto those hips and shoulders. Therefore more care needs to be taken in order to distribute that pressure away from those areas.

Highest risk for these type of mattresses

    • People that are older, sleep on there side, and on the heavier side. You'll have a really bad time with something like this, don't waste your time. Instead understand that it just isn't going to be that easy. Keep searching.

There's no such thing as a magic bullet when it comes to mattresses. Understanding that your personal preferences are the biggest variable in the type of mattress you require will help you arrive at the right destination. It's an extremely important thing to get right, and 99% of the information out there is incorrect and won't help you. Quite the conundrum :)

  • Emma customer service is SHOCKING!!! I contacted them about 5 weeks ago to request a return within the 100 day return policy. Initially they were great and offered a free sponge topper to try and firm things up. That turned up the following day.

Unfortunately that didn't help and so two weeks later I contacted them again requesting a return. All seemed great, they logged the request and said someone would contact me within 5-7 business days to collect. However, nothing.

So I contacted them again a few days back to find out what was going on. The email that came back said if I arranged for it to be collected by a local charity and provided them with evidence they would refund the initial cost……or I could just dispose of the mattress in the bin and provide them with a photo. I replied saying that was rubbish and that the website said they would arrange for collection. Someone replied and then I got a phone call saying they were sorry and that there was a mistake with the submission.

I am still waiting for someone to contact me to arrange for the mattress to be collected so I can get my refund. In 3 business days I will be back onto them, assuming nothing inbetween, but this time I want a refund regardless of whether they have picked the mattress up or not.

Delivery was great up front turning up the following day, replacement sponge was great to try and get me to keep the mattress turning up the following day, but since then its been absolute garbage and still yet to be resolved.
