$109 for standard edition is steep and I played it over the weekend and it's not worth the price point of $109 IMO

Diablo 4 is their new franchise, dragonflight is an expansion for a 20 year old game.
If you look at diablo 3, they didn't reduce the price till 18 months after release, so i wouldn't hold my breath on discounts for diablo 4.

Server slam was good but it was my first time playing it, apparently it was bad because of the so many nerfs.

I missed server slam, but some nerfs were probably needed. I 'played' necro first time around, but the minions were so strong it felt more like a walking simulator haha
I heard that too! Necro was OP and sorceress was OP as well. They nerfed them.
I played necro in the server slam and the minions were weak AF, you had to keep baby sitting them as they kept dying and you had to keep summoning them. Was quite annoying actually
@hasher22: Over nerfed I guess, but I suppose it's a good sign they're trying to find the right balance. Hopefully they'll be better at launch!
Yeah they did that with OW2 - everyone thought they were getting a deal with the pre order battle passes, season 1 passed and then bam - discounted. Not happy Jan.
I haven't done the math but it might be possible to get it slightly cheaper if you can find discounted visa gift cards somewhere, and use those to buy the game on battlenet, but that'll likely be 5-10% discount so it's up to you whether it's worth the effort.

Based on current ratings, theyll drop the price quickly (I mean, look at Dragonflight, great expansion and theyre effectively giving it away now)
