The government would like you to think that some would not download a car, but would they? 🤨

  • ty seems like a really good price for being able to run standalone

  • I'm waiting to get my Izuzu MUX in September. Would this unit work on the car's screen, does anyone know?

    • Generally they are universal, Its just acting as a "fake phone" to your Cars Car Play USB Port.
Could not see why it would not work.

  • Can anyone vouch for it's speed? Is there a lag like other wireless converter devices?

  • Thank OP. using carlinkit 4 for wireless CarPlay. Want to try the streaming options. Newer model is about 3x the price.

Been thinking about one of these for a while. So hard to tell which versions are which with these products, like is this actually a "new 2023" model? Is it some old crap? Who knows. At any rate, relatively cheap to take the risk on.

  • The reviews are really good. Shame it doesn't have a sim card slot

Agreed, would be awesome if it had a SIM Card or ESim functionality.

Can this work in any car with a usb in the stereo?

  • It's time to stick "AI" in product names for no good reason.

  • Dunno why but I bought one.

  • I am sorry but how can it display to a vehicle which does not have an inbuilt car play or android auto functionality? There is no HDMI and it connects with only a USB? I am confused!

    • Hi, it can't, thats why the description has "Supported Vehicle Head Unit: Factory Wired CarPlay", i.e., its a prerequisite.

      • Ah ok, thanks a lot.

  • Will there be any similar deals on the new carlinkit 5.0 2air?

  • Just got this today, Netflix works surprisingly well. Shame it's illegal and can't be used while driving.

    • How's the general performance? I'm looking at getting this for android but I'm concerned about audio/input delays, start-up time, etc.

      • Definitly useable. Android Auto works well. Google maps input lags a bit so using pinch to zoom is a bit flaky. Otherwise navigation is good.

        Worth the money I think.

  • got mine today all works surprisingly well

  • Checking in as well, seems to work well. Will be handy when parked with the kids
