  Hey op, are these from actual "vineyard brands" or companies rebranding other vineyards?

  So much in stores these days are all generic rebrands and I prefer to get stuff that's from a vineyard that actually puts their name on the bottle =)

    Here is some information from James Halliday Wine Companion.

    Claymore Wines is the venture of Anura Nitchingham, a medical professional who imagined this would lead the way to early retirement (which, of course, it did not). In ’96 a 16ha block at Penwortham was purchased and planted to shiraz, merlot and grenache; the first wines were made in ’97. Since then their portfolio has expanded to approximately 57ha, including 5 additional sites dotted from Auburn to Watervale, with vine ages ranging from 30–80+ years. The wine labels are inspired by music that moves them: U2, Pink Floyd, Prince and more. Exports to most major markets including the UK, the US, Canada and the EU. -JAMES HALLIDAY

    Massena Vineyards draws upon 1ha each of mataro, saperavi, petite sirah and tannat at Nuriootpa, also purchasing grapes from other growers. It is an export-oriented business, although the wines can also be purchased by mail order, which, given both the quality and innovative nature of the wines, seems more than ordinarily worthwhile. Exports to the US, Canada, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Korea, NZ and Hong Kong. -JAMES HALLIDAY

    Possums Vineyard has two vineyards in McLaren Vale - one at Blewitt Springs, the other at Willunga - covering shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay, with lesser plantings of pinot gris, viognier, malbec, sauvignon blanc and grenache. In October 2018 DOWIE DOOLE purchased Possums Vineyard and its brands. -JAMES HALLIDAY

    I only had a quick look, but cheapest I could see was about $15-20, not delivered. So at sub $10 delivered, they're pretty good.
