Good Ultrawide Screen with USB-C and KVM for Productivity and Gaming

Hey,

I'm looking to upgrade my productivity and in the market for a curved 34inch USBC monitor.

Current I have a dual setup with 2x24's connected to my gaming PC, so wanting a single 34 that can play games (100hz minimum) and also have the USBC/KVM functionality so I can use my work laptop without having to unplug everything or additional keyboard/mouse cables.

There loads n the market but they don't seem to fit the bill with not enough USB ports (I need 3), Not USBC or refresh is under 100hz

Any suggestions?

  • I use a 3422DWG and bought a kwm switch off Amazon - rather than trying to find one that has it in-built?

  • You will find that the build in KVM ports are limited. If you have lots of devices, you might consider getting an external KVM/USB switch instead and increase your available options on the market.

    • I'm not to fussed, ideally keyboard/mouse are all that's needed.. USBC to connect the laptop occasionally when I WFH.

I have had a USB KVM previously but it wasn't the greatest, as I work for gov as well a lot of hardware can be restricted from working correctly due to device allowlisting and monitors are fine for the KVM/USB switching

  • Are there more guides or documentation about choosing KVMs?

  • What did U end up going with ? In in pretty much the same boat
