Not cybersecurity expert, my assumption is as long a device has no capability to go online, by itself or through another device and/or app (phone, etc.), risk of being eavesdropped is minimal.
Unless a cybersec pro can elaborate otherwise? Please do if you can, I'm curious too.
These don't work great in Australia, I'm pretty sure the frequencies available to us are different from the US as all the youtubers over there show amazing range.

Specs seem the same looking at the listing and the US version. 2400-2483.5MHz band, 100mW/20dBm EIRP. Australia has a 4W limit in that band, so it's not power. We do have spectral density limits but I doubt this could hit 25mW per 3kHz.
Could just be Hisensing the Australian market - same model, much cheaper parts.
