I remember back in 2015 was patrolling Mojave and kind of drinking on my mission that night.. smashed out a six pack then when to spirits, next day late afternoon came back to the game and realised all my precious crafted guns and bb gun from my father are gone… Still bearing this loss to nowadays

Never played 1 and 2. Have since played 3, 4 and NV, currently playing 76, have enjoyed all of them. I guess it's each to their own.
It depends on the type of game you like. If you're an fps fan you'll enjoy 3 onwards. If you like isometric rpgs you'll like 1-2. For me 2 is one of the greatest games ever made. I found 3 immensely dull. In 2 there was just so much content. You could do things like become a boxer or a porn star, this would also help you complete quests in different ways or even lock/unlock other quests. If you're a female character and a porn star, all the female npcs dont want anything to do with you, which closes off stuff. You can even get married in it. Was glorious.

3 was good. 1 and 2 were great. Wish the first two would get ported to iPhone/iPad, touchscreen would actually work well for it.
There are workarounds to get them running in dos emulators, but I totally agree. I’d love a native app.

Do you think is gonna work with Mods? The Epic's version of Fallout 3 didn't work with Mods for me.
Apparently for FO3 you can downgrade the game version using https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/24913 and mod it like the GOG and Steam releases. For free you might as well at least try? I'm guessing FNV is new to Epic Games as I basically can't find any info.
There will be issues if the exe if different. A foundation of Bethesda RPG modding since Morrowind are script extenders which patch the game's exe in memory to add functionality (a bit like tariners do, or loader cracks for software).
For Steam and Epic releases you should apply a 4GB patcher so it can use more RAM: https://ntcore.com/?page_id=371
Gog releases apparently include this. All it does is change a flag allowing 32 bit software to use access more memory on 64bit OSes.

You can skip the 4GB patch and xNVSE section in Utilities as the patch you've linked to already contains these bits.

I’m not sure how mods run on games from the epic store, but remember to mod the game before playing it. Vanilla is an unplayable mess on modern PCs. It was an unplayable mess on release as well, but it’s even worse now. Stutter remover is essential for high refresh rate monitors

Not natively. Apparently there are mods, but I've never looked into them.
I imagine V.A.T.S would have to be completely reworked, it wouldn't exactly be compatible with multiplayer.
