    Lots of people enjoy dark roasts - especially with a litre of milk like Starbucks do with their darks. They were just advertised as medium.
    
    I also suspect something abnormal happened with the huge orders.

      Yes my first kilo (the mocha I think it was?) was VERY dark, but I don't necessarily hate that. Enjoying the second blend much more.
