Not as good as the $99 deal recently

  • Bought $99 few years back and now price gone back up

    • It seems like eBay’s budget can’t afford those low prices again and I guess every company is the same now

  • with the apple the replacement program (battery or lost)

    is it $75 per earbud?

Lost mine bought the pro gen 2 in one of these deals, had it for sometime. Honestly prefer these gen 2 ones, much more comfortable and sound qaulity good enough (not as good as Air pod pro 2nd gen obviously)

    • +1

the thing about the pro gen 2 is the ANC, for me it's just mindblowing (coming from xm4 headphones).

I also use them as backup hearing aids though (nowhere near as good and battery doesn't last as long, but then my hearing aids cost $2k)

  • Compared to the $50 soundpeat cheapies, is there much difference in quality for a kid?

    • No, but keep in mind these block out absolutely no noise whilst those in-ear SoundPEATS will have some form of passive noise cancellation

      • +1

        Thanks.

Still using $15 earbuds from kogan and works fully fine.
No need to spend $99+ on these for kid

      • +1

        Agree don't give in.

        • +1

I picked up the $25 ones from that other deal.

    99 or no deal

  • Would I be able to use these on my android/Samsung phone? Lost my Galaxy buds

    • +1

Yes, they're just Bluetooth earbuds after all. Been using a pair with my Android for the past 4 years. Can't change the touch controls though, you're stuck with the default double tap to play/pause unless you get your hands on an iOS device to adjust the settings.

    good price

For those who miss out this one tomorrow >> It is $172 delivered at MyDeal. So,
Option 1) Get it price matched at JB and use 10% off gift card to bring it down to $155 (OR $147 if you have/can manage the 15% off gift card).
Option 2) Get it price beat at OfficeWorks to bring it down to $164, and use 10% off gift cards and get it for $148.

Note: I can't find MV7N2ZA/A model mentioned anywhere on the MyDeal website (at least I can't see it), so hopping that JB or OW is ok with that.

OW will definitely reject, JB they probably just don’t care.

Personally eBay route is probably just easier. Remember even if you buy 3% off eBay gift cards right now it’s still cheaper than both your methods above

  • I got the $99 Catch deal last time. Didn’t believe in the hype until I started using them. I get ear infection quickly and so in-ear buds are not great (pro models or other brands). These are perfect for long calls or listening as good for normal use. Also, for some reason other BT earbuds just don’t work as well as these as these connect instantly to Apple devices and can be used on any of my devices where I have logged in with my Apple ID. Won’t run or travel in these as I feel they might pop out. Also, can’t say they sound spectacular but are very hassle free for those who use Apple devices. Still use Urbanista New York headphones for listening to good music or Plantronics backbeat fit for running.

  • Signed up for monthly subscription via shopback for $5 cashback
But cashback yet to track, so less hopes on people trying to gey cashback for ebay plus.

BTW you can get it from Kogan too (stack with SB bonus of $50 spend on GC, $20 GC reward)

    • But isn’t eBay Plus cashback only for first time subscription purchase? That’s what it says in the notes section.

      • pretty sure they had same generic terms last time around too (where they said old eBay users- resubscribers can get cashback too)

        • @gotyourback could you please confirm about this ?
definitely still not tracked, NOT EVEN at $0/calculating

          thanks

Just bought it too. Not worth it waiting and hoping for it to go to $99 again.

5 year old product Apple are mass producing for $50 per unit. If it’s urgent, $149 is fine, but they can do better ;)

This has been live for 2 and a half hours, and 175 have been sold…

    • Not flying out the door like how they used to be at $99…. Used to be gone in matter of seconds

      • Yeah, I got mine as part of one of the $99 sales.

I think eBay would have more bites at $119 or $129 but $149 isn't enough of a sale.

        • Yup. Especially when also the 3rd gen sold for $149 in the last Black Friday.

  • Worth the upgrade from gen 1?

  • Did any of you buyers get a Tax invoice with your order?

Just curious if it’s Australian stock. The seller only has 191 pieces of feedback too, 2 negative ones about communication and shipping. Not a biggie.

    • +1

Techciti only sells genuine Australian stock

      • +1

        Yes techciti replied

“Thank you for your interest in Apple AirPods (2nd Gen) with Charging Case. Yes, this is an Australian stock and comes with a tax invoice, and has 12 months Apple Warranty”

        • Interesting - I got my AirPods from this seller today and they show 'Limited Warranty - Expires 16/11/2023'

          Something is not right here

          • +1

@raraku: Apple should be able to reset that warranty date

          • +1

@raraku: With your tax invoice, you should be fine for any issues if they appear within the warranty time frame.

          • @raraku: Same here. Got my order today, with warranty expiry date of 16/11/2023.

Talking to Apple to find out what’s going on…

  • Thanks op
