Had a G613 for a while, experienced really bad key chatter with it even swapping out the batteries for fresh ones (the battery life is pretty damn good though). Cheap build quality, rattly stabilisers and switches are scratchy and pingy.

    Would not recommend.

    • Yeah mine was great for 5 years but started getting the dreaded double typing on a bunch of characters last week

    • Oh dear - I just picked on up from Officeworks yesterday. If I get 5 years that would be reasonable I guess.

Get the g915. It's more expensive but reliable. I had the g613 also it was ok

This is my main keyboard. Very good, keys are very easy to type and responsive, but I don't game though

Only complaint is the key letters peal off easily. My S D N C are gone.

    • Over what period of time? Years or months?

It started peeling within 12months, I'm in yr 2 now and its completely gone

        • No warranty return?

          • @Skullytor: didn't know warranty applies for wear and tear?

            • @Homr: Cool - just asking. Keys fading in 12 months seems too short.I'll be sure to keep my receipt safe

  • I am looking for a new keyboard, previously had the Logitech G213 and it lasted less than 6 months before the 'F' key became intermittent. I'm undecided on whether to get another Logitech or not.

Wouldn't recommend it. Much better options out there in terms of value and quality, Keychron boards for one. My Logitech G810 and G613 both developed key chattering issues, and the G213 (same one as yours) isn't even mechanical.

      • Are KeyChron keyboards much better than the G613?

Only reason I bought G613 was because it was special and Keychron were out of stock at that time.

  • I'm not too pleased about the ping sound it makes - anyone insulate theirs or mended it another way?

Had this (2 of them one for work one for home pre covid. Served me good. Yes it is low quality)
a G512 Carbon and few others as well

Tried a Keychron k8 pro (yes it is TKL) and it is on a different league.

May be for $16 extra try something like Keychron k10 if you need a full size Keebs

or Keychron K8 pro is a good (but bit exp) suggestion if you do not intend to go in to the world of custom keyboard.

I had friends that moved away from G915 to K8 pro which is lower in price.

  • I've decided to return this. Its noisy but I could have got use to that. It started double-taping so thats a no no. Giving it back today.

  • $109 now for anyone following.

$99 from TGG ebay with code PSNSJULY with eBay Plus if you don't mind picking it up.

    • Would still argue there are better options out there even at $109

Keychron, Epomaker, even any of the hotswap boards off AliExpress will give a better user experience then this IMO.

But yes good price if anyone really really needed this specific board.
