    Lovely find.
For this price I'd be wanting sapphire (can go with just 200m WR)

    • You want 6mm sapphire for $399? Anyway, that's besides the point here. They went with mineral crystal because it's less likely to shatter under pressure than sapphire.

I tear up mineral glass on reefs looking for crayfish and moving furniture and equipments around.
Don't mind a few dings on my watches but my saphire promaster has zero scratches on it whilst mineral glass has god knows how many from reasons I don't even know.

The promaster has endured countless scrapes under pressure (i.e. carrying a couch through a narrow door and having the watch drag against the door frame) and only the paint is scratched, crystal spotless ❤️

Honestly it's a very ugly watch in my opinion. I can't see this being popular.

      • Fair enough, if you think you can speak on behalf of most men, then I am sure there would be many here that will share your view. And good luck to all of you. But I think you would find most men wouldn't agree with you in this case.

"Fair enough if you think you can speak on behalf of most men."
"I think you would find most men wouldn't agree"

So you can speak on behalf of most men. Got it.

@[Deactivated]: I can't, and never claimed I did. Hence why I said 'I think you would find' it was intentionally written with a play on your words.

@maverickjohn: "I think you would find most men wouldn't agree"

              Yeah, you literally did.

@[Deactivated]: There's honestly no hope in this argument. You obviously can't see the mocking of your comment. But go and wear your manly watch and make yourself proud.

@maverickjohn: If only I had added "I think you would find" before my comment you would have shuffled off quietly into the night.

                    @[Deactivated]: If only.
Or 'if only' you weren't a sensitive petal who felt the need to get defensive on a comment made about a watches appearance.
                    Lots of 'if only'.
Yet you still responded the way you did and here we are.

                    • -4

@maverickjohn: It's not sensitive or defensive to disagree, Johnnie. Your subjective take on the watch not being pretty enough for your wrist deserved a response and you got it. Now move on to something that'll make you feel pretty.

Not a fan either, colour scheme aside, the face is very small given that ridiculous bezel that is too busy and hard to read.

The integrated strap leaves no option other than having to order the same one again ($$ and can't change the look). Don't mind the style like the tuna, bulky but stretchy to go over wetsuits - tuna has a drilled lugs and 22mm strap.

      Plenty more traditional/dressier promasters/prospex around.

    • It works for Invicta! And Richard Mille.

  • Why would a mixed gas diver at 300m below MSL need to know the date?

  • love my dive watches but of concern are the styles that have specialized watch bands and so limited options for band replacements and i like stainless steel watch bands as they fit easier under shirt cuffs when worn as a desk diver to the office …
seiko do a 300m quartz marinemaster dive watch with stainless band but it’s not cheap ..

it's gloriously nerdy but i despise integrated straps

  • It’s still available for $399! 29.5. 12:28am SA time.

  • Now back to $565!

    • Did you get one lol

      • Nah, I chickened out. You?
