Tenda Beli SP15 Smart Wi-Fi Powerboard, reviews are mixed around the ease to connect to your wifi. Works with Google assistant fine but reviews are mixed on working with Alexa.
Others selling it for over 40$ , so seems like a very good price to try it out if you can C&C.

    • Aside question: are MSY & Umart the same company now? Their websites look identical

      • May be both are using word press

        Umart bought MSY

        • Yeah MSY was headed for bankruptcy & umart bought them out is what I was told from one of the MSY guys

      • Yes, looks pretty much the same.

I was able to get one of these for $19 at Coles Carlingford. It's Tuya though.

  • Can the plugs be individually toggled manually?

    • It appears we'd have to use the app to turn the individual plugs on and off.

I have smart plugs but they're individual ones, not a power board. There's a physical button on my one that can be used to turn the plug on and off, so the app isn't required. It looks like this smart plug needs the app and can't be toggled physically.

      • That's not good. It's always gd to have a physical button. So we can use it while traveling. I have the tp link kasa which has button for each port
Now i wonder if this is approved.

        • Yeah I'd like to be able to turn each plug on and off without the app. I'm surprised there is no physical switch on these things.

  • Great price for the unit ( thanks OP) but $17 for delivery, no deal from northern NSW

  • Is the app or schedule working for everyone? Mine didn't switch off according to the schedule and I can't control the board at all via the app.

I know the app is connected as I can see the status change if I switch the board on/off via the physical switch.

    • Interesting, mine still work like a charm. Have you tried to maybe delete it off and connect it again? I use it via Android phone , is yours Android or iOS?

      • +1

Thanks for checking. I went to delete it and it reappeared in local mode. I then reset the strip itself, reconnected and it's only working in local mode.

At least I can control the switches now, but the timer / schedule functions aren't working because it says it can't connect to the internet. Ugh!

        • For others who may run into the same issue.

It's now back up again. All I did was leave it unplugged it overnight and plugged it back in this morning. I did send a message to support via the app, so not sure if that had anything to do with it.
