BPC Tech Not Providing Promotional Game Codes?

Hey guys, bought a prebuilt PC from BPCtech awhile ago, with a long lead time.

However the issue I've been wondering is:
Has anyone else not recieved a gamecode from them when buying one of the RTX4000 series cards (either seperately or in a prebuilt PC), the gamecode promotions like Redfall/Overwatch/Diablo4

They sent me to their 'marketing' email team, but i never recieved a reply.

I'm wondering if BPCtech is actually just taking these promotional game codes and reselling them on CD-Key websites, instead of actually giving them to their customers.

I see there are a few Australian listings of Diablo IV keys that require a RTX4000 GPU floating around on those CD-key websites going for between $50 and $80 each

Keen to get your thoughts.

    Um, customer mis-understanding ;)

    To redeem Diablo 4:
    - go to GPU manufacturer website (not the retailer) and jump through hoops (register account, register serial number, photo proof, invoice, etc)
    - wait for GPU manufacturer to email code
    - enter code into GForceExperience software (requires account), wait for code
    - fire up battle.net, go to account, redeem GForceExpereince code

    It's a long convoluted process :P

      That is convoluted indeed!
No one explains that as clearly as you have, thanks!

      Not even this post:

How to get the code: after purchase, you need to register/claim on the participating brands page to get the code. Then redeem the code via GeForce Experience. The links for each brands are in the deal landing page.

        uh, it is pretty obvious

        • Nvidias own FAQ on redemption instructions:

Q: How do I know if my retailer is participating in the NVIDIA GeForce game bundle promotion?
Not all retailers participate in the GeForce game bundle promotion. Check with your retailer if they are participating in the promotion.

I didn't buy my GPU direct from MSI/Gigabyte etc, so I had no reason to go to their website to claim from them.

BPCtech's own website had the promotion shown on the product pages, so it's reasonable for a normal person to assume they as the retailer are participating and will give you the code directly, or at least provide instructions on how to do it. (neither of which was provided)

So i'm not sure why that reply is being downvoted so much

  • yeah, that is a redemption via a claim at MSI not from BPC, it was a bit of an issue trying to get the key from msi, but it got it in the end and gave it away

  • As others have mentioned, it's claimable through the brand themselves rather than the store.

BPCTech went above and beyond last time I dealt with them in terms of a promotional game code for Monster Hunter: Rise. I was initially told I wouldn't be eligible as it was a custom order, but after receiving the PC I got an email from them wishing me the best with my new computer, along with a claim code for the promotion.

I wish I received that level of support.

I went almost 2 months without so much as a peep from them explaining where my code is and how to redeem it.
Then followed up after a month and still had no further response other than a 'our team will get back to you'
