  • So like what happened if you already prepurchase on D4 via Blizz direct? I guess you can't use the code to redeem anyway?

    • +8

hopefully this means there will be some cheaper unwanted keys floating around

      • +4

You have to have a nvidia 40 series gpu to redeem the key as usual

          • +2

            @CrazySurfaNZ:

            Gutted

Why? you've obviously purchased the product before, because you thought it's worth it at the time of purchase and you could certainly afford it. The same gpus sold now hasn't gotten any better or cheaper than you'd bought it either. They're slapping a promo backed up nvidia because the cards arent selling well. if you're keen, keep an eye out for classifieds section of this website for any game keys that would come up.

            • @kaleidoscope: 4090 is way cheaper than before actually.

            • @kaleidoscope: You're right of course, the logical part of the brain agrees, the emotional part on the other hand still wants the better deal, they did have an Overwatch promo on when I bought mine but seemed to all have been redeemed and just an add-on anyway that I'm not interested in, but yes I was ready to buy so went ahead, such is life.

      • +1

From my previous experience getting Destiny 2 with a 1080, you needed the same GPU installed and recognized by Nvidia Gefore app in order to redeem the key. Might be different now though.

    • I think you can request refund typically if less than 2 hrs played

    • Well if that isn't a hypothetical I'm interested. (Paying of course!)

    • Get a refund if possible.

  • so how do you get the key after you buy a card from an aussie retailer? doubt there is a code inside

    • +3

The retailer needs to have signed up to the promotion and will give you a key that you input into GeForce Experience.

      FAQ: https://www.nvidia.com/en-au/geforce/geforce-experience/rede…

      Redemption instructions: https://www.nvidia.com/en-au/geforce/campaigns/pc-game-bundl…

    • +2

the instructions here. Their reseller partners usually get a list of codes from Nvidia which they hand out to the customer via email.

    • +1

you have to contact them and ask them to provide the key. I did this with the 3000 series and CoD

    • I bought a card from Scorptec on Wednesday. Received the card on Thursday. Registered same day for the promotion through the Asus website.

Oddly I didn't have to submit my invoice. Just had to give the retailers name, date of purchase, and the card serial number.

Received my game code via email today.

      • Could you let me know if battle net gives you the option to upgrade to the ultimate edition once the standard key is redeemed? If it’s a possibility then this deal is for me, but I need that early access. Cheers.

        • +3

          Yes it certainly does.

$30 to upgrade to the digital deluxe or $45 to upgrade to the ultimate edition

      • couple days turnaround - nice!

      • +1

So was it 2 days total since submission? Mine was submitted on saturday and says "not deal with yet" on asus portal.

        • +1

mine says the same (I also submitted Saturday)

        • Could you tell me have you got the code yet?

          • @Eissac: Yes after about 8-9 days. I dropped an email to [email protected] as well.

            • @kaleidoscope: I submitted on 31/5, still haven’t received the code. It says “not deal with yet” on asus portal. The game will be launched tomorrow, doubt I can get the code by tomorrow 😔

              • @Eissac: Its annoying eh… It seems they are processing these in batches perhaps? Did you try to drop an email to that above address? Mine was resolved through that and later updated on portal (probably by rog team)

                • @kaleidoscope: Yes I did, on Sunday. I know I’m being impatient but I can’t help it.

                  • @Eissac: Alright, hope you'll get it soon. Tbh I'd rather have the game installed, updated and ready to go by the weekend than being in the middle of the week. But that's just me :D

  • What's the rough cheapest price on any of these cards? Bit out of the loop on gfx card prices

    • +4

Cheapest is the 4070 which afaik current lowest price is $899.

      • Ah ok cheers, bit much for me!

  • +2

its official, laptop gpu owners can get f***ed in both horrid pricing and being illegible for promos 😅

    dont we just love nvidia

    • +9

      illegible ?

sorry i can't seem to understand what you have written there :P

      • i always thought it was illegible but apparently its not the correct word, google isnt helping so thats that. oh well not giving it a fudge just like how nvidia didnt give a fudge about laptop users.

        • +6

          ineligible ? all good :D
apart from the raw deal that is :(

    • +3

Gaming laptops are absolute garbage in my experience. I'd any day opt in for a good productivity focussed laptop and a console.

  • +6

Imagine being at a pricing level that when you throw in a $110 game bundle (and a massively popular game mind you …my fave on PC).. it's still not much of a bargain… Smh

    • +3

I got mw2 with an intel 12th gen cpu
      $300 cpu with a $80 pc game
      That was alright

      But a $900..

      • Lol exactly …I got a 5600XT for around $300 before covid with 2 free games and some wow DLC or something I didn't care about (godfall was one of them) and then it ended up to also be eligible for $50 steam card… Now that to me was a good deal … Not so much a $900 card with a $100 game (all be it a very popular one)

  • +10

Heads up Amazon doesnt do these partnerships I was shafted on the last one despite Amazon being listed as a partner.

    • +2

I just got my D4 code from Asus having purchased an Asus TUF 4090 from Amazon.

      • how long did it take for them to mail you the code

        • About 10 days. I emailed them after five.

  • So the period is from the 9th of May. I purchased my 4080 on the 8th but didn’t actually pick up from the retailer until the 11th. Think I have a case to get the code?

    • I brought my GPU like this. You weren't the only one, however I had brought mine on the 13th March, picked it up on the 15th March and then the 17th March the Redfall promotion started. I was so annoyed cause I was waiting for a sn850x to come from the US… Anyways tried to get the code through gigabyte and they instantly rejected it (was a bummer 😕)

You might have luck but I reckon they won't approve it but it doesn't hurt to just try it…

    • If they ask for a invoice proof… that has the date

    • Did you have any luck with this? Bought a pre-built on the 7th, they probably received my direct transfer on the 9th and started building it, then received it on the 11th. I think I may have to ask MSI to see if they can switch out Overwatch for Diablo.

      • Direct message me

        • Not sure if I can DM you, I enabled mine but when I started a new convo, it says "User Seph does not accept new conversations."

  • +2

North Korea misses out again that sucks

    • +3

Someone didn't read the fine print?

Offer valid worldwide, excluding China, Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba (void where prohibited by law).

    • +1

so they actually sell those in north korea

    • +1

      Time to move South

  • +2

That carrot ain't anywhere near big enough for this donkey.

  • Is there a way once you receive this copy to upgrade to the digital delux to get the early access?

    • +2

Once you activate it you can purchase deluxe edition for a $30 upgrade.

  • +8

You guys gotta be delusional if you think people are just going to give away their d4 keys.

    • -4

My this is oz bargains we want the (profanity) free shit

      • +4

Then buy the participating video cards like everyone else.

        • -2

That's not a very ozbargain thing to do mate.

          • +3

@NedStark102: of course it is, its the very purpose of ozbargain, that's why this deal was posted.

    • +3

      Exactly lmao.

The pc copy of Diablo 4 is only sold through battle net too for the full retail price of $110 unlike console copies.

I reckon people reselling keys can easily sell them for 80-90 each.

      • The cd key sites will sell them for 80 each, you won't get anywhere near as much selling to them.

        • Doubt it given there aren't any physical versions of this game for PC but happy to be proven wrong though since I prefer playing on PC.

  • +1

    "…while supplies last"

So there's an element of luck which the purchaser need to rely on that there'll be supplies left?

Although I guess considering how poorly everything other than 4090 sold, there'll likely still be supplies?

    • +2

Well it's a marketing tactic. News is that they aren't selling nearly as well as Nvidia hoped that they'll be selling. For me they expected the 4000's be selling like hot cakes. Though with their greedy aggressive pricing they thought everyone is keen to fork out the $1500 (on average) to get it. However since the drop in crypto mining, people have been getting way better deals for the 3000 series.

So to offload their stock they have to do something. I suspect they will drop to an average of $1000 in the next few months. Prices for these cards are ridiculous.

  • anyone has got a inno3d card and tries to redeem the key on their website? It's not working for me, no success / result page upon form submission.

    • redeem the key as in firstly obtaining the key?

    • Yes, if you activate the code for them you can sell it for more.

If you just sell the code without activation then you have to discount it a bit.

      • How does this work? I'm confused.

        • +1

The code is given when you purchase the GPU

To redeem the code you create a free NVIDIA account and then sign into Geforce experience, the app has a redemption area that checks your PC has a qualifying card inside the computer. Once you activate a code with your card the serial number is entered into the database so you can't activate another promo code for that promotion using the same GPU.

You sign into the NVIDIA account after redeeming the promo code and it asks you to connect your battle net account to activate the game. (this is what someone who buys the Diablo IV from you would need)

If you sell the code without activation that means buyers need to have one of the qualifying video cards in their PC to activate it onto an nvidia account. If you create a new nvidia account and activate the code on that then give away the password to someone that costs them more since your card has been 'burnt' for redeeming another one of the same promo.

          • @Agret: lol
a [p]resell niche where the only market is people who already bought the RTX 40 cards and missed out on future redemption bundles?

They can use the same gpu for each new GFE promotion?

            Appreciate the write-up

  • Should I sell my rtx 3080 and buy a 4070? Hmm…..

    • +1

If the 3080 isn't preventing you from playing any games that you want to play, or hiccups/stuttering for the ones you tried to play, then only if you can break even the buying cost and selling income.

    • Just enable DLSS/FSR in games you want a bit extra performance in.

  • -4

    I can afford a 4090 rtx every 3 days. Should i buy hmmm….

  • -1

    Just sold my 4090….

  • Instead of a free copy of Diablo, how about knocking 25% off your overpriced cards Nvidia? Not all of us earn $250,000 a year.

    • +1

Never, get cheaper only when new gen is out, by then you’d want the new gen. 4070 ti >= 3090 ti and cheaper

    • -1

I earn a fair bit more then that and ain’t shelling out what I would normally spend on a new computer for a single component.

  • +1

Been playing D4 server slam but the game feels boring to me now that Zelda is out 🤪

  • We need rtx 4080s at the $1500 or less price at the very least anything over that it's over priced for what it is

  • +1

Looks like PNY is not participating in this in Australia, so the 4070 for $899 is not included.

    • Urgh, this sucks. Was planning to get a PNY 4080 as it fits my case and has a good heatsink (low noise etc).

  • +1

hodl for the goty bundle with 3 expansions and a bunch of premium currency

  • +1

    $3000 for Diablo 4?
    B A R G A I N!

    • +2

Diablo IV comes with free graphics card

      • haha

  • Steep entry fee

  • +1

You guys are dreaming if you think there will be $80 keys. Try 100 -105

    • $80 is the current going price for it on Reddit. It's just the standard edition of the game, GPU promo codes are always cheap. This game is around $40-45USD on the code market since it's so desired, most other bundled games around $35-40 USD.

    • For $100-110 rrp game, $60-80 can be expected. But not during when its still in preorder. Specially when the game is only available through battlenet for pcmr

  • +1

Can you redeem with any 4090 or does it need to be from a participating brand?

    • +2

There's a list of participating brands on the page, unless you mean actual redemption of an unused key in GFN (that you have acquired on the secondary market), in which case I have no idea if they have vendor checks in addition to model check.

      • +1

        Just model check 4070-4090

    • +1

You can redeem it with any 4090, feel free to buy unactivated code :)

  • Please use Classifieds, if you are selling or looking for a code.

  • +1

Shame Purchased my GPU before the Period above :(.. Oh well, never been a huge Diablo Fan…

    • -1

Maybe you can assist someone with activating the code? Enable Private messages?
