  • So how's this for a concept. I've got a stack of ebgames gift vouchers atm. I use them to buy ps credit and then use that credit to buy the subscription? Any flaws with this cunning plan?

    • +1

      No flaws.

    • +1

      That’s what I did.

      • can u also use cashback with ebgames vouchers to get ps credit?

        • I don’t understand the question.

  • Is there going to be discounts on games during this period?

  • Noob question: I have a PS5, can we share a PS Plus with another family member on another PS5 console?

    • +1

Yeah through console sharing. The account with PS+ needs to be set as the home console on the other person’s console while the PS+ subscriber plays as usual on their console.

Only the subscriber gets access to PS+ bonuses though like packs/content in games i.e Rocket League and Fortnite get extras quite often.

      • From what I read it seems only a PS5 with PS+ can share with a PS4?
You can only share your games and PlayStation Plus benefits with accounts on one PS5 console with Console Sharing and Offline Play activated and your primary PS4 console.

        • +2

It’s a bit confusing but what that means is that you are allowed to designate one PS4 and one PS5 as a "primary" console. You can share PS+ across two PS5’s:

          What can be shared?

          • Online multiplayer (subject to parental control settings).
          • Downloaded games purchased with PlayStation Plus discount.
          • Downloaded Monthly Plus games.
          • PlayStation Plus game and classic catalog games (Extra & Premium/Deluxe).
          • Game Help (PS5 consoles).

          What cannot be shared?

          • Buying PlayStation Plus discounted products from PlayStation™Store.
          • Redeeming PlayStation Plus games on another account.
          • Online storage.
          • Auto patch download.
          • Early access to time-limited game trials.
          • @ElectrkJonesy777: I'm confused. A relative has a PS5 and PS4 at their house, sharing the same account.
I have a PS5 at my house - can he share his account with me?

            • @JJlikes2eat: I wouldn’t think so TBH but I’m just going by the wording on the PlayStation site re: sharing PS+.

  • Question. I have a Turkish account that is expiring soon which I can't renew (PS doesn't accept Wise cards). If I subscribe using my Aus account, can I still use my Turkish account to play PS plus games after my Turkish account expires. I don't want to have to start over again on some of the games.

    • Nope, you’ll lose access to whatever games you downloaded from PS+ on your Turkish account. The only things you’d keep access to is anything you paid actual money for.

      • I know it does not work for essential tier games what about games in the Extra tier?

        • I don’t think the tier would make a difference but because your Turkish account downloaded the games I’d imagine you’d lose access to any of those once your subscription lapses.

    • In the same position… I heard something about using the crypto. Com card?

  • My current sub expires October 2024. SO I might wait.

    • +1

you can do it now and extends it to Oct 2025 :P

      • Typo?

You could extend until October 2038 if you wanted. 15 years from today.

        • +1

It will only extend to 2037. I just did it and it wouldn't let me buy 2038.

          • @Geoff-bargain: It depends on what month you started. 15 years from today is 4th June 2038, so if you started even the 5th of June, you would be only be able to do 5th June 2037.

            • @GTR12: Yes unless you are starting from zero, 14 years is the max you can add on.
Its one hell of a deal though.
              I got deluxe for $13 a year!

        • Not true, was able to extended to June 2040 lol, didn't try more but might.

  • +2

Blah, the 25% off doesn't appear for me when I go to downgrade from top tier to bottom tier.

    • yeah this is frustrating…. why not offer us the same 25% off on other tiers

  • I have 278 days remaining on my Essential. Should I cancel to get credits and then upgrade to Extra?

  • I hate how they make it literally impossible to find where your subscription settings are to turn off auto-payment. Worst UI.

    • +1

On PS5 It's literally under PlayStation Plus tile > all the way across to the right > Manage Subscription

  • I'm good til 2030, what are the chances there will be better than 25% between now and then?

    • Can you please explain how to get more than a year with sub? I've never subscribed before but I can't find an option to select 24/36 months etc. I'm only seeing 25% for 12 months.

      • +1

Can you not just buy it multiple times?

        • Oh. I didn't even try. I was hoping to sub for 2 years.

  • Is anyone else having a problem with extending the sub?

I did 1 year yesterday and it was fine (subbed to 2025),now when I try again, it just says "an unexpected error occurred, try again in a few minutes".

I've tried on the PS5, PS app and website, and I've been trying since this morning.

  • Anyone else get charged a Forex fee for this? Credit card shows the PS plus fee being charged in GBP!

    • +1

It’s always the case unless you use a card that has no international transaction fees.

    • Yeah, but ING refunded it straight away for me

    • yeah INTL transaction fees suck which is honestly why i keep my Amex.

  • Have been away from PS for long time, what is best steps to stack these up for new user?

    • If I understand other comments correctly…

      • If you are only looking to stack years of Essential, just buy multiple times as you see fit.
      • For many years of Extra or Deluxe, first do as above and buy many years of Essential, then choose 'upgrade' because there's a cap on the upgrade price, it works out cheaper.
  • +1

Can someone who currently has PS+ Extra or Deluxe, please advise if they are able to "downgrade' their sub (via subscription management) and what the cost is now during this sale?

    • yeah this is dumb… i upgraded to deluxe as part of some short term deal.
now i can only extend 12 months deluxe at 25% off, however the other 2 tiers are full price….

I let my deluxe expire 2 days ago and now i don't have any sub, still only 25% to get deluxe and others are full price

  • Anyone having trouble with them accepting payment?
Can you subscribe via a net browser?

    • if it helps, i have just purchased 4 years and upgraded to Extra using the "Upgrade Cap" a user mentioned early in the thread via console.

  • I am on PS Plus essential. Wanted to buy another 12 months of essential, do they still stack?

My current essential expires in November and just wanted to take advantage of the 25% deal which ends soon but bit confused with knowing whether you can still stack.

Also if they can stack, how do I purchase? Do I just purchase through console as wording confusing as says something like extend for 12 months hence not worth it if I lose my current subscription ending in November.

    Many thanks

    • Yes it stacks, I just did it through the PSN plus button on the left (not the manage account way in the settings)

      • thanks

  • Noooo just missed this deal, need one for Diablo. Any idea how often this deal come back?

    • You can play Diablo IV without PS Plus you only lose a few features like joining clans without it. You can skip the PS Plus subscription screen by pressing Circle when you start the game and play as normal.
