          @mie: Ah okay, my misunderstanding from an earlier comment. I thought Ippudo in QLD was charging lower prices compared to other states (which would've been weird).

    Hakata Gensuke is also in QV and charging $18 to $20 for ramen. Can you find me ramen in Melbourne CBD for under $15 that's just as good?

      I think Hakata Gensuke has also gone down in quality over the years, but I would still rather pay the extra $3-5 on top of this deal to eat there than at an Ippudo.

  Ippudo isn't as great as it used to be, Ive had more enjoyable ramen from places like mikazuki in Parra, Manpuku in Kingsford and Ramen Dragon in Mascot and these are $17 routinely.

  Note this includes the extra noodles, which used to be $1, but is now $2 so net price is $13-14 compared to previous $10, which was a more limited range.

  The buns are a bs freebie - redeemable on next visit with ramen order and by 30 June, so not valid for next cheap start of month offer.

  Still this is a good offer for a family with small kids to share.

  PS: full price is now close to $30 a bowl.
