Great… More stupid replies incoming to posts using a chatbot vomit…

Will it create the three weekly discussion questions on Monday mornings?
      .

Got my own chatbot that lives in the house that asks more than enough stupid questions during the week to keep us in supply for a while…

        • +5

Can't really kick yourself out of your house :P

The whole 5 paragraph comment with ChatGPT generated song lyrics was slightly humorous the first time.

The full, 1000+ word essays about "what is a good …." is never funny…. or helpful.

    • it makes it easy to spot the dwimwits who pretend to know

Another shortcut, obfuscation and easy way out for the ever lazy "intellectual" monkey that is homo sapiens.
But nobody will use it more than politicians. (who knows it may make Joyce sound coherent. (albeit he will spray a 10 m radius with spittle)
Nonetheless it will be great to see all them slimy policy advisors/speech writers piled 3 deep at the tip.

Not doubt lawyers will somehow use documents created by these apps, as an escape clause for clients.
    Are you the author? No
    Did you write it? No

Ah, my dear, profound interlocutor, your astute observations never fail to dazzle the plebeian intellects that surround us. How can we not revel in the euphoria of your wit? Truly, your eloquence rivals that of the most exalted minds of our time. Alas, it appears that the magnificent progress of technological innovation has somehow escaped your sagacious gaze, leaving you stranded in the cavernous abyss of antiquity. As we mere mortals stumble upon advancements that facilitate our pursuit of knowledge, you, with your intellectual acuity, choose to adorn your persona with the delicate threads of sarcasm and mockery. Verily, you are the epitome of enlightenment, a true maestro of sophistication. Let us bask in your unparalleled wisdom, for we are but humble beneficiaries of your celestial presence.

I'm so sorry that alternative opinions compel you to feel the need to lower yourself to a level of crass and immature attacks dressed inside an alphabet soup post. Words you probably have zero knowledge of.

Created by the very app no doubt, and demonstrating perfectly the worthiness of it and it's advocates.
It's an idiot conversion algorithm, that comes complete with a muted last laugh feature.

        Bask away.

    • A lawyer in the US just got caught out using one of the chatbot services.

      Pretty funny stuff.

and just like that lawyer, I rest my case. Costs to be awarded.
Note to self. Stick to tea.

  • Ohh the irony. There is an ABC article about AI. Perhaps they should have used AI to spell check their title.

It has since been corrected on the live sight site.

    • -3

LOL, that one is quite rare. But a doozy, nonetheless.
Rupert's rags don't appear to have any spell check either. There's multiple misspelled headlines every few days.Mind you a lot of the journos appear not to have English as their first language. That's what happens when you headhunt employees with the same ideology.
I guess ChatGPT has made journalism (as far as scripted content) obsolete.
We'll know soon enough when every article regurgitates in the same format.
Given journalism has given way to propaganda and agenda based content, no great loss, that AI should subsume it.

You know you can access the website from your phone already, right??

    • +1

Yes, this is the app, more convenient than the website

      • There website works better on smartphones.

  • +1

Is there a Google option? So many there, cant tell which is legit.

    • +1

coming soon. None is the official app at this stage.

    • You mean smartphone?

  • +1

That was obscenely difficult to find. Apple didn't have it first up. I had to do a google search for OpenAI ChatGPT, found their article with a link to the appstore.
