Browsing Amazon for coffee deals after missing out on the big Hario post a few days ago and saw the basic V60 plastic dripper for cheap. You'll need to click into other buying options to see the Amazon JP price.

Note this is for the Size 03 (which is actually cheaper than the Size 02) so may be more suited to larger brew sizes. Paper filters currently still on half price for the Size 02 (https://www.amazon.com.au/Hario-VCF-02-100W-Coffee-Filter-Na…). These fit into the lager Size 03 dripper fine if you're just after a single cup brew.

  Hey OP you've linked size 02 filter papers for a size 03 dripper. Can you use the size 02 in the size 03 dripper?

    Yep, the smaller 02 filters fit into the larger 03 dripper. It won't reach the top of the dripper but if you're just after a single cup brew (which the 02 size is more than enough) it will be the more economical option.

    Not sure if the $14 price is achievable. I keep refreshing and occasionally it comes up but as soon as I click through to other sellers it goes away again. "Suspenseful music plays" is the bane of my existence.

    From what I have seen they have filters that are cut at the bottom instead of having a point like the hario ones

  Being able to order from Amazon Japan feels like a bug. But all my orders have been shipped. I don’t understand what’s going on with Amazon. It’s like they’ve half rolled this out then said “oh wait no!”
