      Is $6 cheaper than $6?

      • Re: Impossible Lair? 🤷🏼‍♂️

      • Impossible Lair -_-

Judging by the RBA report on CPI, it's actually cheaper now than it was then.

I'm in the credits for this game. Someone keeps deleting my imdb profile though :(

Can you please send me a signed copy of the Switch version? Thank-you 🤝

Let me tell you, as someone also in the credits and therefore part of the industry, I have basically no rights over this!

After this whole Yooka-Laylee debacle I turned down the titular role in Bayonetta 3 out of sheer principle. I wasn't officially offered it, but I had to take a stand.

        • I had the titular line in star wars.

          • @BeauKilla: "No you can't… that would end up in a Star Wars!"

        • Can you share more about the debacle? Are you credited as part of the Kickstarter campaign? Did some voices? Which bit became a debacle?

(Genuinely interested. Playtonic seem like good people.)

@lordrupertliverpool: I'm making everything up. I'm a backer like everyone else in the credits. I was just having a jab at the people who think they're "part of the industry" tbh

@Ninternet: Oh, lol! Thanks. I'm credited in one of the old FIFA games for doing some data editing and the absolute carry-on of some of the knobs I volunteered with us hilarious. Swan around like they're God's gift.

    Is this support 3 players?

Is this in the same vein as It Takes Two? Would it be good for me and my partner?

    • +3

No. It's barely two player. Pretty much a single player game.

      • Yeah, one player with a floating wand type situation.

  • +1

Both games have been given away before on Epic.
Might want to check if you don't care about platform.

This is sometimes known as shovelware

    • +2

Played the whole game through a while back. I’m pretty sure the snake in the game says something about shovelware 😂

BTW, I loved the game - harder than I thought it would be. Definitely gave me Mario 64 vibes with DK humour (not surprising considering the pedigree)

    • 75% on metacritic and that's before patches that addressed its flaws. Not quite shovelware if you do your research.

    • Not really shovelware, they had good intentions, put a lot of time and money into it, and it was meant to feel like Banjo Kazooie did though it doesn't measure up, not to BK1 anyway. It's just not a good game. But it does at least feel like a N64 era game so they succeeded there at least. If you're a fan of Rare or just old 3D games then it's worth $6. The platformer, the Lair game, is meant to be good too, I've not played it yet though.
