They are great night lights with a warm, soft light that is directional so you can angle or position them to keep the direct light out of your eyes.
They are used every night in my house and I have not replaced the batteries since Dec 2021. Amazing value.
The 3M stickers have held them in place on a wall since installation.
The IR sensor is very accurate in not coming on during the day and picking up movement from a wide angle and from far away. Very useful to cover a large area.
Just bought another pack when I was in store last weekend and thought I should share my experience for anyone wanting some simple and good quality night lights around the house.

I got a pack from this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/671456

I also have a couple of the

lights and recommend them if you want a brighter and omnidirectional night light. Haven't replaced the batteries in them either and owned them for about 6 months longer than the eufys.

Can they always be on during the night as a night light or are they only sensor only night lights?

  • +1

    What batteries do they take

    • +4

3 AAA batteries according to Eufy website

  • Is it true battery life is that good? OP hasn't replaced battery since 2021

I use these night lights with ladda 900 rechargeables and they last about 6 months before I need to swap them out. I guess it would depend what batteries they use and how much traffic there is at night in the spot they put it in.

    • I'm not lying. The lights probably get triggered about 5 times per night and come on for 10 seconds.

It's been 1.5 years since I installed them so do we think the lights can run for 9 hours?

We have 3 of these in our unit and love them. Mounted at about knee level on the wall and they cast a really nice warm light down at the ground. We also put one in the bathroom which makes those middle of the night trips so much easier, no more fumbling around for the light switch and getting blinded at 3am!

Do you normally bath/shower at 3am?

      • +1

        You’ve never taken a piss at 3am?

        • -2

Certainly have - but I normally go to the toilet to piss.

  • Would this be good for a kids room?

Kid is scared of the dark, need a soft light that stays on all night or something similar…

We tried an officeworks light, but died after one night lol

      No, these are sensor lights.

    • You need a "dusk 'til dawn" night light if you want something that you don't need to type on or off.

    • Loads of kids night lights out there. We have one on the Dreamegg sound machine that provides a nice warm light that is adjustable in brightness. Stays on all the time (or you can make it pulse, not sure why)

    • Just get a smart bulb, and set a timer and dimmer.

  • Got two packs, cheers.

I recently bought this 6 pack around the $22 mark on Amazon. Not sure if it's the same size

    • Any good?

      • I only tested one of them inside my bedside drawer and it worked well for that purpose. I bought the warm white version.

    • Would like to know this too

  • One piece came back in stock so I bought it. Just thought of letting every one know :)
