I can confirm the skin rub issue. It was painful to wear. I had to cut and batter a portion to make it soft so that I could wear it.
I bought these a year ago, can confirm they are not comfortable and they (profanity) up my heel.

I have a pair. The heal section is also made out of leather causing loss of skin to your achilles. Wouldnt recommend.

If you wear longer socks you'll be fine. I wear mine with the no show socks. The shoe is quite stiff and uncomfortable though.
Foot Locker have the Lacoste Power Court on sale atm for $80 down from
$180. Much more comfortbale shoe. Not many sizes left though.
Quality is hit and miss imo. Mine started cracking at the front where the toes bend so returned them after a week.
I see many options like carnaby, letond, classics in lacoste, any recommendation pls?
I really love the Chaymon’s, they’re also nice enough for smart casual wear. I’ve got a massive amount of wear out of my Chaymon pairs.
