Gigabyte M27Q-P 27" 1440p 165Hz(/OC 170Hz) IPS Gaming Monitor with KVM $469 + Delivery @ Scorptec

140

Another 1440p 165Hz monitor, except this one is special in that it features KVM. Note there are differences between the M27Q and this model, the M27Q-P, one of which is that it uses the standard RGB subpixel layout as opposed to the previously criticised BGR on the M27Q (which is supposedly fixed in the rev 2.0 version, but I believe Australian stock is rev 1.0 or older), among other improvements.

Other than KVM, is this too much different from the G27Q for $110 cheaper?
G27Q is also on sale for $359 (not as low as recent click frenzy sale though).

    • tbh I'd recommend the dell s2721dgf for ~$350 if it comes back in stock, I thought I'd post this deal since I know there are people who buy this monitor for whatever reason (it gets recommended quite frequently by techtubers)

      • I was looking for that Dell 2721dgf, and the last sale about a month ago had comments that it was discontinued and wouldn't be back in stock :(

      • The page for the s2721dgf has disappeared on the dell website. Think it might be end of life.

it's a different panel. can't tell if better or worse just from specs but from a couple of review the G27Q is a good budget monitor for the price.
M27 can get brighter, have better color and more ports. if you want to nerd this out, I recommend Monitor unboxed reviews on Youtube.

I've used the old BGR version for a while now and no issues, looks nice

    • Same, great monitor!

I'm using 2 of the BGR panels, and they are good, however the backlight bleed is somewhat noticeable when your screen goes black in movies or games.
