It's based on the temperature at Melb Airport I think. There's no Pancake Parlour at Melb Airport :) If the temp at Melb Airport is below 10 then the offer is available at all Melbourne stores.

Yeah pancake parlour’s pricing policy baffles me.
At $5 how are they making money? The $10+ malts cover it?

For all the people who followed the Summer Parlour promotion, during summer it was "once it reaches the temperature, it's that price until the end of the day". This one is based on the temperature "when you order", so if it's sitting at 4.9° then keep an eye on it while you're driving over.
The old system was better. Too much randomness involved this time.

I miss the old deal where the price equalled the temperature. Got $1 pancakes even though BoM had the airport temperature at 0°C. Best 1am snack I've had in ages.
