Just a warning to those of you still using your Citibank Plus accounts.
I had to transfer funds to a foreign bank account recently, something that has always been seamless and FEE FREE in the past…
I have just been slugged with a $40 fee from NAB for the transfer!
Is the Citibank Plus account no longer fee free?
Actually I’m not sure now that’s what the fee is for, it just says domestic transfer to NAB. I’ve queried it. No fees mentioned when I did the transfer. Can’t think what else it could be as I don’t use the account that much?
its from NAB. not Citibank.
If it is from NAB, then it looks like Citibank transferred the funds in a foreign currency to NAB, and NAB did the conversion and charged the fee.
Citibank's Australian retail cards are owned by NAB now
PRobably changed when they got bought by NAB
Didn't you see the fee before transferring? Wise is ,by far, the best for o/s funds transfers
