Your products are up to 90% cheaper on aliexpress. Not similar products, but the same ones.
I'm all for making a buck but giving ozbargain 50% off when you are way too high to start with isn't a good practice.

You are absolutely kidding, or is this a punk'd site.

Batman cuff links @ Jay Kirby $69.99, exact same cuff links @ Aussie ties $12.99.

    That is all, goodbye!

Wow you're correct, much cheaper elsewhere. No bargain here.

When there is an article on your site that says 'How to dress like an Alpha Male', you know it's going to be bad.

      Advertising gold on this site.

They are clinically proven to make boys feel like men, instantly adding height and machismo to even the most emasculated of men.

      also

Because we have a social conscious, all our amazing unique items (cufflinks, ties, bow ties and pocket squares) are handmade from environmentally sustainable and ethically sourced materials.

      The kicker for me is:

Because all items are bespoke and made to order we do not offer refunds or returns. We do, however, offer exchanges if items are returned in original condition within 10 business days.

For a business that clearly ships out Ali products, their honesty as a business is questionable and shady.

On Wednesday, ABC 7.30 Report did a "harsh reality" story of ecommerce website developer selling websites to set up your own dropship business for tens of thousands of $💰
    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-05-31/the-harsh-reality-tha…

Seems a lot like this business: "We're 100% Aussie owned and operated" DROPSHIPPER!

Watched that video and it is interesting… Something like "Fools and their money…" comes to mind. All these people wanting some "influencer" to set up a website for them for $20k and expecting it to churn $15~20k per month…

It's like the idiots that pay to go see investors talk… They only one getting rich there, is the investor giving the talks…

      • Similar to here - the only way to make a $15~20k per month from dropshipping - charge a high price for crap & buy at a low price.

And find a large gullible audience with money rather than sense. Hence the use of an "influencer", likely fake reviews, & clever marketing spin.

Those buying those websites & the buyers from those dropship websites are all ripped off.

    Really? "Yolo"?

Anyway, negging as others have stated already above reasons. Dropshitting. Cheaper elsewhere. Claims on 100% Australian, the list goes on…

I'm not going to say too much but I took a look at the registrant of that domains ABN and they're also associated with a lawyer firm. Is this some sort of weird set-up to sue the Ozbargain community for defamation or something?

    • Doubt it.
Think they thought as there were enough people on this site, some would be gullible enough to fall for their extremely overpriced crap & marketing spin. ie just more OzAdvertising.

They weren't expecting what they got from this informed audience, closed their account, & left.
There was no way they could justify their pricing, even at 50% off! So they gave up.
Still, their advertising for potential future sales remains! People are still going to their site.

Is this some sort of weird set-up to sue the Ozbargain community

      Again doubt it.
They tried to make sales ($ is all they're interested in). They've moved on.
Believe me, they don't want to draw attention to their unscrupulous business (taking advantage of those without the knowledge to buy at much cheaper prices), by taking legal action!!

      See Ozbargain Legal threats policy
I've had a discussion with a member legally threatened for their comment on this site. Ozbargain supported them👍
