Priority Pass -- Multiple Accounts For Same Person ?

Background:
Due to Credit Card offer [Bank #1],
I have had a Priority Pass [PP] membership,
linked to my name and GMail address.

I found out that another Credit Card offer [Bank #2]
allows for Priority Pass membership too.

Question:
To get the second PP membership,
should I need to use a different Email address, when signing up?
(I just did not want to even attempt, for fear of getting "flagged"…haha)

Does the ‘+extraaddress’ trick for Gmail work for Priority Pass (creating a virtual second address)?

      • Thank you muchly @MELso and @happydude ,
I actually forgot about this 'trick',
and I knew about this from day "dot" too !

I think with age, the most obvious solutions are escaping me,
but at the same time, I guess I don't like any one / service to know
that I was using this 'trick', haha.

Yes just use a different email address - I don't think you can combine two different credit card PP benefits into the one account. PP themselves don't really care if you have two (or more) accounts because they get paid for each account opened.

Have to open on two different emails to make use of the various credit card offers.

    • Noted.
      Thanks :-)

Yes. I have 2 PP accounts. 1 with AMEX Platinum Charge and 1 with Citibank Prestige. I just screenshot my AMEX PP account and use PP App for my Citibank Prestige.

The way I bypass this is with +amex and [email protected]

    • slightly different topic but do you find value in both cards now? I ended the prestige a few years ago when they started reducing benefits and switch to Amex so thought i'll ask. thanks

AMEX's PP doesn't give you $36 dollars per person to buy food. Prestige PP allows you to have unlimited lounge entry and purchase food at some airport. If you have 2 people, you actually get $72 dollars to buy food. I just use Prestige's PP to buy food and bring on flights since I fly mainly economy. For lounges, I usually go to Virgin Lounge (I'm already Platinum with Velocity) or PP's Lounge. AMEX Centurion Lounge in Sydney is kind of crap…Citi Prestige PP lets you have basically business class food on flight while relax on the ground.

In terms of price, AMEX Platinum Charge is $1450 annum and Prestige is only $700. I travel about 5-6 times a year with my partner and I basically get my money's worth. Not only that, Citi lets you do Citi PayAll for 20k points a month (I use it to earn about 10 days of interest), 1 luxury airport transfer a year up to $100, and $10 bucks off Uber ride each month. Just those benefits, I feel like I do get my money's worth vs AMEX Platinum Charge.

Thanks yeah I used to do the $72 as well when I had prestige. It was a better card back then. 2x airport transfers in Asia pacific too and Payall was up to my credit limit which was several times the $20K now.

Okay looks like I haven’t missed a trick on this. Thanks for the response mate.

        • Have they started charging for payall yet?

          • @scanuck: It isn't charged until any payall set up after 31st Oct 2023. However, I set up mine till 2033

    • Your suggestion is the best one,
and the most obvious one, which I completely forgot about
(which I knew about, from the late 2000s).

      Thank you for replying.

I will create my PP accounts :-)

  • Has anyone tried using two separate memberships to guest more than one person in?

i.e. with two PP accounts, you can technically guest two person in. Will the system flag you as it'll be useful when travelling as a party of three.

In my case, I actually have Star Alliance Gold and PP membership so technically able to guest 2 in; however unsure if lounge will allow availing two under me?

    • If you use the smartphone App, then you can use 2 different logins to generate the QR code for entry.

So, while you're checking in yourself + 1,
you would log out and log in again for +1, under a different QR code.

Those staff don't know your entitlements and they shouldn't care either.

I have never done this myself, as I usually travel solo but last year, I had 2 Priority Psss accounts myself, and used them both for entry into lounges.

Ah thanks- would this hack work with single PP account? I have Citi Prestige so unlimited access

        • I wouldn't call this a "hack",
because I had 2 different PP accounts,
from 2 different credit cards - Citi and St. George.

Both credit cards were active at the same time.

I got 2 visits per PP account, so after I used up my 2 Citi PP visits,
I switched the PP login, and entered using the St. George PP account.

If you have Citi Prestige, and you say it's "unlimited" access,
is that just for you only? or you can take only take 1 guest in per visit ?

          Sometimes, I don't mind paying that US$ 35 (?) fee for 1 person,
if the other 2 people get in for 'free'…because I think then, it cost US$ 35 for 3 people
and that's pretty good, for a buffet meal inside an airport.
