    Thanks ordered 2 for $38.95.

    • Tried ordering 2 but it's $53.67 isn't supposed to be $38.95

      • Are you a prime member?

  • not sure why it says 1TB

Prime customers buying 2 cards save 10% instead of 7%

    10% and 7%

    Nice. Good price. Thanks OP.

  • How are these compared to Sandisk high endurance or max endurance I believe Samsung ones are pretty good but not sure which is best to least best

    • I dont think you'll notice any difference between them.

    • +1

Unless you're running applications/booting OSes off these, don't worry too much speed classes and performance. U3/V30 is fast enough for pretty much everyone except professional photographers/videographers.

      • How noticeable is the slow down if you do use this for android apps?

    • +4

Some anecdotal evidence from comments in past deals suggest that the Scandisk high endurance has a higher failure rate compared to the Samsung Pro Endurance. Never had the Scandisk personally but I've been using the Samsung in my Viofo 119 for the past 3 plus years and had no issues

      • Confirmed - Scamsung definitely better than Scandisk.

        • 🤠 You don't really inspire confidence when you call them Scamsung.

          • @Meld: Yeah, but that's Morefromgerry's fault.

  • Welp that's enough microSD cards for me. Now we just need a GoPro deal.

  • Ffs, just bought 2 128gb Transcend cards last week then this pops up. It's going to be a good comparison between them to see what one lasts longer

  • +1

Buying 2 comes up as $38.95 delivered for me with Prime.

  • Good deal . Got 256 for 51 but this would be better for multi device

  • Which ones better the pro or these?

    • Whatdoyamean?

      • I mean the evo plus vs these.

Wasn't that obvious?? C'monn now!! Lol

        • These are better

        • They're designed for completely different use cases. For "regular" applications like for use in a smartphone/tablet/Nintendo Switch, the EVO Plus is much better and faster (and often cheaper too, so this deal is one of those rare exceptions).

For applications where the device is constantly writing to the SD card like dashcams/surveillance cams/Home Assistant, then an Endurance type card (which is usually slower than the EVO Plus) is your sensible choice. You could use an EVO Plus for this, but you'll probably end up killing the card much faster since it wasn't designed for constant 24/7 writes.

  • Is this enough storage for dashcam? I always thought that the minimum required is 256gb for any substantial amount of recording footage

    • Dashcam get 256. Depends on format of video and length. 256 is good starting point imo

    • +1

Depends on the dashcam I guess.
Eg. No use to get 256gb when 128 is recommended

    • +1

Probably depends on how much you drive, if your camera is also rear facing, if your dashcam records when the car is off etc. I drive infrequently, its front facing only and doesn't record when parked so have been using a 64gb endurance pro for the past 3-4 years. I get roughly 3.5-4 hrs of record time which is fine for me, however couldnt resist this deal so bought

  • I swear I've signed up for Prime and cancelled the subscription immediately after placing an order probably a dozen times by now.

  • I have purchased Sandisk high endurance 128gb cards recently for $21 each I’m thinking of getting these on this deal as seems a good price.
But are they overkill as it’s for the Wyze cameras which i not purchased yet obviously plan on getting the pan 3 and non pan 3

  • +1

I use these with my Eufy cameras and they are fantastic! It's also the max capacity Eufy can accept (128gb). Great price OP

  • There is also the Samsung 256GB EVO Plus (Not Endurance) microsd card going for $31.89. I reckon this is still good value if you have a dashcam or security cameras that can take 256gb

No discount applied for 2+ cards though.

  • +1

    Thanks OP got 2.
Had another seller's sitting in my cart but this is way cheaper

  • +1

I bet JB is selling this same card for $49, no chance they will price match? As i still got my $10 perk + $10 B'day voucher to use this month.

  • Anyone tried these on Wyze? They officially only support 32GB or less, but some larger cards seem to work fine.

I've tried with a 128GB SanDisk Ultra in the past and it doesn't work no matter how I format it.

    • I have asking similar questions if these are overkill in the Wyze cams, lol I don’t even own the cams yet but i plant to and I’m sure Sandisk and Samsung cards work.
Well I hope so as I purchased 2x Sandisk 128gb high endurance cards on a deal recently and now these.
Obviously don’t have these cams to try and I’m sure someone had issues formatting not sure what brand sd cards and had to use a camera to format them.
I hope I not wasted money on all these cards and don’t work these cards should work on Wyze cams.
I know I read or seen a bid that people was getting-128gb cards to work on these cams and should be anything less is useless in a cam

  • Any thoughts on using one with a Switch?

I'm curious how someone in the know would compare it to the faster Evo/Pro Plus cards that have worse endurance. Can the Switch even take advantage of the higher sequential speeds? Is there a lot of writing involved when playing games making use of higher endurance?

    • 🧙🏻‍♂️ Whenever you save games it's always to internal memory. The SD card would be for downloading games or storing game photo/video captures, so you're not going to be writing to it that much compared to the internal storage. Just keep your microSD card's data backed up to a hard drive for safety.

    • These Endurance type cards are designed for dashcams/surveillance cams or other specialised applications where the device is constantly recording — this type of constant writing wears out “normal” SD cards very quickly, sometimes resulting in the card dying within a few months or so. Endurance cards are engineered to be able to handle this kind of workload much better, for a much longer period of time before failing.

For everything else, including smartphones or Nintendo Switch, you’ll want to get a normal card like the EVO Plus. There’s zero reason to use an Endurance type card outside of their specialised niche setting. Endurance cards are almost always slower in overall performance (read and write) compared to regular cards too.

  • 👨🏻‍💻 The EVO Plus have 10 years warranty but these only have 5.

    • +1

Different use cases though. A 5 year warranty for something as intensive as dashcam use is unmatched by any other manufacturer, the EVO cards are warranted for dashcam usage at all.

  • +3

If anyone got the viofo dash cam (ozbargain favourite)

They actually don't recommend this card.
Also not recommending the San disk high endurance but recommend the max endurance. Do not understand.

    https://support.viofo.com/support/solutions/articles/1900013…

    • Was just about to purchase for a viofo 129

I wonder if it'll be fine anyway

    • never knew that, i have the samsung evo plus in one of my viofo dashcams but only cause it was packaged free with the dashcam.

  • I got 2 for 42, how did you guys manage 38?

    • Same, I'm getting $42.17

    • There was an additional 7% off promo before that disappeared/expired.
