Find me a deal on Twin Pram

Is there any deal on a decent twin pram out there?

  • There probably are.

What have you found so far? What are your requirements? Kids both same age?

Based on my search on OzB

I already have a single pram, bassinet converts to a seat, so a 0-4 age.

But the Rover3 bassinet does not convert to a seat.

I think I am going to have to spend a grand to get a decent pram that I would not hate for the next 4 years lol

once kids are 3yo. you dont need a pram.
you possibly dont need a pram from 2.5 onwards too.

        • Hm that would be an ideal world

      • I just have the Baby Jogger City Mini GT which I had the bassinet attachment when my kids were young. I only had one young kid at a time, not twins, so when the older one was old enough (about 3.5 years), I simply got a standing attachment for him to use with the younger able to sit.

In the end I'm glad we didn't get a double pram because we already had the single one which we were/are able to stretch out the use for.

Just buy second hand.. but if you’re after a double, get the ones that 1 in front of the other. Don’t get the side by side ones as they’re way too wide

    • I think that's great advice, will not consider the side-by-side, even though they are the cheapest options around the 500-600 mark.

I am not thinking about used because you know due to hygiene and they're still expensive lol

  • check on marketplace or amazon

    • Nothing I liked on Amazon tbh

  • You're a parent of Twin?
    I'm a parent of twins.

    This is what you do
If you plan on having a capsule for the baby then the tandem in line ones are good. We had iCandy orange, bought for $900 second hand, sold later for $300
Theyre super shit if you plan on walking on anything other than flat ground. You will struggle to go up kerbs or avoid the pram from tipping over if the foot path is on an angle.

Then we bought mountain buggy duet side-by-side. It worked amazing. it is narrow enough to fit through all the doors we had to fit through. I had the 16" mountain buggy terrain wheel on it to avoid it flopping back when the kids were off it and we had a backpack hanging on the handle bar. We bought the MB duet for $350 and sold for $300. The MB terrain tyres were $50 off gumtree. The MT duet also was easy to go up kerbs and all terrain we threw at it. Except, mud (never tried) and sand .. we had to pull it backwards.

Also, dual-camera baby monitors are expensive. Android tablet, onvifer and two RTSP security cameras are better.

    • You can say twins, we have a 1yo. Thanks for the advice. I am thinking to sell the current single pram to get some money into the new one.

I ended up buying the Milli & Coup Leo with 2 seats. I waited a lot for a deal and gave up. I never wanted to buy used due to hygienic reasons.

This brand is the same as Baby Bee, only 50$ difference in Leo and Rover3. I bought Leo because it had some new styling on black model and a free handle bar bag.

899.99$ + 30$ shipping plus the most important thing was, stock was available.

Writing it to end this discussion and maybe help someone who is in the similar situation.
