Gifted my wife an avanti cup a few months ago. She literally throws it in her purse, forgets about it and walks to work. She has never had a leak.

+2 - mrs willyroo takes hers everywhere, including regularly in thin metal tubes. All day insulation for tea and coffee.
Here's a similar one - the lid design is superior to most, although my Contigo Snapseal is excellent as well.
My Contigo is awesome. Keeps a cup of coffee hot all day.
Keep cups and kept in the cupboard.
I'm not a fan of KeepCups. I got a Camelback vacuum insulated tumbler and absolutely love it.

Is it spill proof?
Good question. I just went and tested it - it's not designed to be 100% spill proof, but full of water at a right angle the leak is minimal. If it's kept in somewhat of a vertical orientation I'd safely say no amount of sloshing around will lose much.
Strange, I got camelbak tumbler as well, used about 3 months with hot tea, it seems the lid was deteriorate and now it can't fit with the tumbler.
What part went? The rubber seal that sits in the lid recess?
Yes, that one. The black rubber seal is so soft now, it even can't hold the lid when holding upside down.
@codinghelloworld: Maybe see if you can send Camelbak a message to see if they can replace the seal. I've used mine almost daily for 6 months and it's still like the day I got it.

So over keep cups. Seems quality has gone downhill - my last few always leaked. Tried an Avanti cup about 6months or so ago and never going back.
