  • yummy 2 star health rating ….. this or nutri-grain as part of balanced diet ?

    • Noodles.Yummy. Hypertensive sodium missiles for sure, but they taste good.

    • The rating assumes you drink all the noodle soup

      • Last time I checked instant mi goreng doesn't have soup

        • You can cook it as a soup with salt seasoning in then strain the soup and add the sauces in.

  • How do these taste vs the Indo brand?

To my mouth Indo is far better.

Seriously just go into an Asian grocery and get the normal Maggi curry. This is the packet.

  • I know that people don't eat instant noodles to be healthy but do keep in mind that when they list 'Wheat Flour' in the ingredients they actually mean refined wheat flower which is so ultra refined that it is bereft of most of the nutrients and benefits of whole wheat flour. I don't know why our laws don't mandate that manufacturers clearly list it as 'Refined Wheat Flour' in the ingredient list rather than misleading the consumers with the 'Wheat Flour' tag.

    • Any idea what would be the least unhealthy ramen to buy?

      • The one with the highest salt and saturated fat content. Check nutritional content at the back of packaging

unfortunately haven't found any worthy contender yet that I can whole heartedly recommend to you mate.

    • I think Maggi advertises as Wholegrain Wheat

    • Maggi has wholegrain noodles in the chicken flavour. Surely those use actual wholegrain wheat as they are specifically advertising it.
The wholegrain noodles are also the lowest fat instant noodles by far.

      • mate sorry to say you but you have been tricked. Well that is what all these corporates do. The variant that you are referring to has only 10% of Wholewheat flour.

Noodle Cake: Wheat Flour, Wholemeal Flour (10%) (Wheat), Tapioca Starch, Water, Mineral Salts (508,451,501,500), Vegetable Oil [Antioxidant (320)], Salt, Stabilisers (405, 415, 466), Vegetable Gum (412).
