the sales of this product must be like rubbish…looking at the specs, would you spend that much for a product like this one? No idea what the dev people at Sammy did for this one..
We got the classic Aussie tax - the US retail price is $400, and it debuted at about $480 here. I agree, the specs are kinda crappy - but this is supposed to be a more budget line of tablets (and it was pre-Nexus 7).

Very good deal . Map coffee machine $70 ( HN selling price) plus $100 store card.
tablet $447 -$70-$100=$277 is cheapest ever for that tablet.

Why would they? That's not the promotion, and the store credit means it's more likely for you to return - more of a benefit for them, as opposed to just giving you the discount.
Great deal (for those who don't care overly much about specs). I'm holding out for the rumoured 11.8" 2560x1600 SGT. If that turned out to be a Nexus tablet, I would die a very happy man indeed.
