  • v8 vs v10

Two digits higher so must be better….

edit: quick google seems to give some raw details.

    • Not much from memory

    • +1

Used both; v10 more powerful, larger bin, can do whole unit on single charge.

We gave our older barrel Dyson to the in-laws shortly after buying the V10. It has been running for 5 years and I recently had Dyson do the premium service for $270 as I don't see the need to upgrade from this beast of a stick vacuum.

The current eBay Dyson deal is still valid for $599 including delivery and extra tools, use this month’s discount code

Obviously anonymous negger did not know how to click on the links and do the maths 😜 {TLDR} For $5 more from Dyson direct, you get 3 extra tools.

Upvote comment because you said maths and not math

  • How does this compare to the Dreame T20/T30? They’re usually cheaper and are reviewed super well.

We had a dream, motor head died in 14months wasn't able to get a replacement and the thing is loud as ever. Mate has the same problem with noise after two years. Won't be buying anything from them again personally as their aftercare sucks.

I've found mine, purchased at a slightly higher price (low 7s from memory) to be… Just adequate.. certainly not enough to do the whole house and this not having a swappable battery has basically meant that I try to do a lot of little tidy up vacuuming using this.. ie: it's enough to pickup visible crumbs and other dropped stuff.. the motorised roller can be annoying in that it often flings larger debris stuff across the room instead of sucking it up on the first pass.

In short. It does the job but I'd have no qualms about trying a cheaper model from dreame etc with swappable batteries. I will likely end up going back to a corded vacuum like the shark for full spring cleaning type work, as I like to rest the Dyson for a couple of hours before putting it back on the charge (I rest it in the wall cradle but done push it down to engage the charging port.

    • Out of curiosity do you have a robo vac or are you using this as your main vacuum?

  • +1

Love ours. A lot of vacuum at this price. Same motor as a lot of the more expensive Dyson's minus some of the gimmicks (led screen etc).

Did have a dreame, this is head and shoulders above.

    Invest.

Go Bing Lee using an AMEX card and get $70 off with an extra $20 off with welcome credit

    • +2

that sounds so complicated that you must be a true ozbargainer

    • It's not an Amex offer is it? Or is it targeted? Not on either of my cards.

      • Is target , but most of my friends with Amex have this offer

  • Turbo on my one has failed after 11 months, other settings still work. Good value at new price

Just claim dyson warranty they will sort it out for u in no time.

We pay a premium mainly also due to dyson warranty service.
