Is this good or should I invest in the higher wattage one?
Not as good as a higher wattage for crushing ice, but for everything else, it’s plenty - the Bamix mixers are well designed
Read some less than flattering reviews on this one. I waited until I could get a deal on a more powerful one with all the extras( father's day sales).
The standard bamix doesn't get rated that well by SeriousEats. I'm holding out for a deal on the Cuisinart Smart Stick blender which has a 300w motor and is around the ~$100 mark.
Good deal, but I never understood why people, especially Americans, say "to this day" in a sentence where it's not required.
Because it makes it sound cuter. Less cut and dry, so well suited to the consumer market
No attachments?
This should be fine but the Bamix works best with the accessories.
I would get the Wet/dry Processor grinder and the powder disc. Catch of the day has a special on both of these at the moment.
Is his the same as the Doxy wand a couple of deals down ? - look very similar…
