What could the pro model possibly give you? for a PS5? i know with the ps4 pro it was 4k so with the ps5 pro is it going to be 8k? most people wouldn't buy a 8k tv for this lol.
Struggles with many games at 4k 60 and introduces reducing targeted resolution in areas to make up for it. Yet alone 4k 120.
Still looks great, but that's the truth.
Likely could just be coded more efficiently by devs but don't see that happening when you can make up for it with hardware grunt.
@Dvbargain: I have always played games in 1440p or 1080p on the ps5 so I never worried about 4k. I prefer high FPS over resolution.

Almost no games on PS5/Series X run at native 4K60. Many games are only running at 30fps. A PS5 Pro would be great if it could allow it to reliably run all games at 4K60 0r 1440p120 but the price i assume wold be well over $1000 AUD to achieve that.
Same. R at least can wait til next year. I’m surprised there isn’t a 16 based console pack. I’m sure only Japan will get some sick console design with it.

My disc PS5 is like a rocket turning on the PS5 at night. Digital is very quiet and sleek in comparison.
Just take the disc out, then you have a digital version.
Most games run off the SSD regardless of disc or digital versions.

Mine is the same, disk spins up to maximum for half a minute right after turning the console on even with no games started.
Same on the PS4. I don't have a PS5… yet… but I'm sure as hell getting the disc version when I do.

ummm they haven't run games directly off disc since the PS3 days if they did these days it would be too slow to load games. everythign now gets installed on ssd to run very fast.
