  • They went out of vogue, I think everyone is doing blended juices now. Kmart had one when they were popular and it was okay, just had to cut things quite small so it didn’t jam. The juice extracted is very nice. Pulp can be used in baking etc for fibre.

Check out marketplace, there would be heaps I’d imagine.

  • +1

I have the Russell Hobbs RHSJ100.

It's on sale on Amazon at the moment - $159

    • Thanks i did see that one.. couple of reviews stopped me. Have you juiced celery on yours?

      • +1

Nope only good tasting stuff through mine!

  • Why do you want hundreds of grams of sugar and no fibre?

    Never understood juicers..

    • Because you can't drink an apple?

      • Right. My point is that juicing fruits isn't good for you, like pour some water in a glass and add sugar, it's the same thing.

I guess there's the illusion of health beacuse "boy I just drank 5 apples and 10 carrots!"

        • Nothing is inherently "bad'' for you.

But yes, fruit juice isn't the healthiest choice obviously

    • Fibre just slows things up on the way out.

    • Cucumber, celery etc. Not everything is an apple.

      • If you're juicing a cucumber of celery just skip the step and drink a cup of water
