Was looking for a new Bluetooth speaker with AUX options and came across this at 50% off. I think Optus has EOFY sale on some products based on other discounts.

Serious question. Why is this a sownside?

because i want to use it as a speaker for my google tv only, not to take it out.
this cap makes it not very comfortable to use the cables….
Fair enough. I guess not a downside for me as i like the cap because it makes it water resistant/proof.

i am still thinking of echo 4th gen (not dot).
do you know comparing with this blueant x3 thing, which one has a better sound quality? (i also do not care the alexa thing, use it as a speaker only)

@OZBUser2022: Look at the specs of the speaker compared to the Echo 4th Gen. Firstly the X3 speaker is cheaper than an Echo if you're not going to use it for the Alexa assistant. Plus at least with the X3 you can take it anywhere and an Echo needs to be plugged directly into power in order to work and requires wifi to work too. Each to their own, I'll let you decide for yourself.
