    Dell is an all rounder. LG is better at just gaming.

  I have the 29WL50S (same model family?). Review is;
  It works well for what it is. Its not a great screen and not a bad one.
  I like that it has inbuilt speakers. They are not the best quality but enough for me to hear the windows alerts, watch youtube instructional videos etc.

  The downside is the stand is not high adjustable at all. I bought a stand off amazon to adjust its hight.

  Besides trying out Diablo III and IV (my mrs plays those games) I dont really game. So cant comment on the gaming performance.
