  • Just seen it and thought of posting it then you beat me to it :) Anyway i don't know much about this specific model hopefully someone may check reviews and such to clear up worthiness of the deal

  • $5.95 ship

  • I have put it on order. It cost me 105.95 with delivery within Victoria.

  • $105.95 including postage.
I think it's worth paying $30 extra and getting the Seagate 1.5TB from amazon us.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00455MCRA Just note not to expect warranty with it.
ad prehaps wait for the Amazon one because it's been $119 shipped before with 28 Degrees mastercard.

Non Ausie stock + non warranty + long time to wait to be delivered = No.

      ^_^

How exactly is catch of the day any different?

        • Last time round when qqq have us a deal for the Led Lenser T7, that got delivery in 3 days!!! (melb) so not all orders take as long as you experienced before now hopefully.

        • +1

@Mirage - The only time COTD will have adequate amounts of stock and deliver quickly is when QQQ posts the deal on OzBargain because they want to improve their reputation with the internet bargain community after being notorious for 1-2 month delivery times and barely any stock.

    • Seagate Expansion Portable 1.5tb $149 from Dick Smith

Because here's the better deal :P

    http://www.groupon.com.au/deals/national-deal/Hitachi-Touro-…
(Exact same product & warranty - however, note that the delivery date may be up to 4 weeks)

    • Wow.. Great!! Why didn't you post it before. I have bought that one. But still need to wait, the deal not yet valid to order.. So it's not the better at the moment.

    • post it as a deal, since SOTD expired. I ll give you a plus :)

MSY has had these for ~$100 for months now. They are $105 at the moment, but I swear I've seen them for less than that in the past.

  • Is it better than Seagate and WD ?

    • Compared with Seagate; yes, but WD is the best (the more expensive of course)

      • just be aware that in pocket drives WD are usb hardwired/soldered wheres seagate are not.

this alone is a dealbreaker for me as the micro usb connector is very flimsy.

        • What is the effect then?

        • +1

well 1 you cant remove the drive and use in desktop pc

and 2 as I said, the connector imo is very flimsy - feels like it can break easy. Mine is already having problems.

Seagate one at least has the removable/replacable connector which in turn also means you can use in desktop/laptop pc.

  • SOLD OUT - grrrr

    • You should try the other deal (recommended by IndecentExposure)

If you are in WA, you can still get it at Austin Computer. http://www.austin.net.au/hitachi-touro-mobile-mx3-1tb-usb-30…

  • +1

This is $105 from MSY why do you guys even bother with COTD when you can have it now?

    • -1

90cent delivery to your door. Don't have to wait in a long line, find parking, etc…

      • First world problems; leaving your house, waiting in lines, finding car spots, etc….

  • Is MSY sold out? because they are still selling on COTD
