alternatively you can get extra 10% off + free shipping at mobileciti with the coupon code FYVIP10

    • I avoided posting Mobileciti as there are mixed feelings about it on here. Good deal.

    • Always buy through ebay plus for extra protection

Can anyone confirm the products you would get on Bing Lee/mobileciti/Allphones eBay stores are actually Australian models? Any model numbers to avoid/obvious ways to tell?

    • Bing Lee product description under warranty tab on the listing:

When buying from the Bing Lee Outlet store, all items are 100% local stock with full manufacturers warranty.

      Bing Lee model number

      SM-S911BZKAATS

matches the model on the official samsung australia site

Bing Lee also appears on the approved sellers list for the free Galaxy Watch 5. Mobileciti does as well but not Allphones.

Bing Lee is one of the top appliance/technology stores in Australia so it really is not possible for them to be selling grey imports.

      • According to this comment, Bing Lee Ebay is excluded. Might be as to why the 'free watch' promotion is listed on Bing Lee's website but not mentioned in the Ebay listings. Although I'm still awaiting a reply from them for confirmation.

        • Any update on this?

            @PatchyFog: Direct quote

Purchases from ebay require an invoice from us to be able to claim via samsung

In regards to this claim, item must be received prior to the 3rd of july as the claim ceases within this time period

However at this current point in time stock may not be delivered prior to this time

@Phanboy: So, receiving the phone "July 17 - 20" means no free watch then I guess. Possibly I'll cancel the order and wait for another deal. Thanks.

Phones so expensive now. Is the upgrade from s21 to 23 worth it? Non ultra.

    • +4

I would say no phone upgrade is worth it unless you have an absolute need for it. We are getting incremental improvements between generations now. The price increase is all so orgs can maintain quarter on quarter increases without having to invest a whole lot in innovation.

I would say real world performance is probably 5-10% and camera performance is 5% (maybe larger in less than ideal situations, such as dark or losts of movement).

Personally, I would wait for probably another 2 gens and than by last gen refurb for half price.

      • Waiting for s21 deals?

    • It may be worth it for the improvement to battery alone. The chips in S23 is vastly more efficient than the exynos chips in prior gens. With that being said, if your S21 is fine for your use case and you don't feel like you have to worry about battery all the time, then just hold on to it.

    • isn't it up to your own requirements?

Do you find your current s21 lacking in anything like speed or battery or something else?

    • How do you find your current phone? Are you satisfied? What do you use it for? (e.g. Heavy gamer, photographer or mostly calls/social media?)

Depending on your answers to these, that will help you decide.

If you're not having any problem with the S21, hold onto it till you do!

  • $120 off all models with targeted SNSMD… code

  • Is it possible to ask for the same deal at Bing Lee store? Want to get a s23+ 256gb

    • +1

The code is a general eBay code so it would be highly unlikely, dependent on the salesperson. You can also click and collect for free if you want to receive it from a store.

  • Ended up with this phone, bought from Bing Lee. It took about 3 weeks to get to me but the invoice date was still in range to be valid for the EOFY watch deal. I filled in the redemption stuff and today, about 10 days later, I got the email to say the offer had been so successful that they had run out of stock of the watch. Instead, they are sending out the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm LTE Graphite.
Not a bad result in the end.

    • You just got the latest just released model for free. Awesome result.
