hey everyone Nike Factory Outlet at 416 Smith St Collingwood VIC is shutting down

    I'm not surprised…
I've never bought anything ever from there…
Everytime I've been, the range is crap and the prices expensive…

its not a factory, its just a plain old nike store.

      complete waste of time.

Its actually much cheaper than any regular nike store or factory outlet store, they always have 40% the already discount prices on special days and they have a clearance wall with discounts. I have shopped here over 10yrs and on several ocassions purchased kids shoes for around $25 when other store sell them for $60+ and even on ebay sold em for $50 each. If you cant find cheaper shoes here, go check out foot locker then check here for prices then you realize its like 30-70% off. Personally i loved this store n sad to see it go

    • lol someone gave you a neg, for stating the truth?

      • no, people gave him a neg because it was JV
notice how camMMM just agreed and got +17 LOL.

people would rather +1 him :D

        haters gotta hate…

  • Any Free's or Free Run's or Lunar Glides?

  • they aint closing down. they are moving to bundoora

    • I recieved their email saying they are closing forever on 26 aug, it didnt state they are moving though

  • OP, was that 1 pair of runners plus 1 pair of casuals for $100 total, or 100 each? i just wanna know if i read u correctly.

id love to get some runners under 50 bucks, even if its a lil more for nike it'll be good.

At the previous sales I've picked up quite a few pairs of decent runners for $30 - $50

      • I got two pairs for about 100 bucks,
the runners are less then 50 bucks

    Should be in the forums.

  • I wouldn't bother, went past on Thursday and the place was half empty. The few remaining items mainly seemed to be sports team related and were overpriced.

    • The further 50% started today and ends tomorrow it didn't apply on Thursday

  • I got the Nike Air Max moto 8's with iPod connectivity for 40 bucks, Even on eBay they sell for 120. The others are Air Force 1's (AF1) hightops that sell for around 150ish online

Everytime I go there when they have a sale, it's so packed you can't move. I went next door to Brooks and got a great pair of runners for half price instead.

  • Do they sell the Nike Carlton Blues jumper out there?

    • +1

Feel like burning it after our loss tonight?

    • +2

If you go to Princes Park during the week you'll probably get them at about 90% off. They have to sell it at that discount to match the effort our boys put in tonight.

      • +2

The ones signed by Ratten are 110% off

    • There better be big discount on merchandise & membership at Carlton's store. Can't believe our team's performance last night, if we lost to St Kilda next week and did not make the top 8 it would have been easier to digest but a loss against the GC Suns is just unbelievable. To many selfish players on the team and player who just want to kick long instead of kick/passing short and keeping possession.

    • I have bought the whole family all of our Carlton Kit from this shop and the one at South Wharf (on my way to games at etihad stadium!!). It is normally 'hit and miss' what they have at the time. I am a long time Carlton member and the club used to organise 'members nights' at this shop where they would stay open late, you show your membership card at the door and they would have a late night 40% off everything in the shop!

Oh……gutted over last night as well!!! I am scared to logon over at the talkingcarlton or bigfooty boards, I reckon they will be in meltdown!!!

I will be sad to see this place go. I normally take the kids there in Feb each year to buy them runners for school and footy boots. They normally have a 40% off old season footy boots sale. I know I can maybe get them cheaper over the net but the kids cant try them on then.

I have Nike Free Run 2's that I bought at this shop, cant remember the price.

If they are moving to Bundoora they might as well move to the moon. I live in the South East and Smith St is a Bi Annual event, I wont be making a special trip out to Bundoora!! Will be interesting to see if Adidas, New Balance hike up their prices as they are in that same stretch of shops.

My friend told me he went there yesterday and there were not many products left…

  • Compare with CatchOfTheDay shoe sale which has some Nike shoes
    http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/smallfish_info.php?event_id=…

  • bunch of garbage which should be in the bin

  • grumble grumble RUBBISH grumble PACKED grumble IT SMELLS IN THERE grumble WASTE OF TIME

    • lol so definitely not worth it?

  • just for the daily use, it's a good place and especially you are looking for big size. of course they don't have those fancy fashion shoes.
