        You need to stop being so fixated on the Pixel. All devices with a battery have a chance to explode. You can type any model of a popular device into Google and you will find one that has exploded.

        One potential reason is faulty low-quality chargers or cables.

      No. As a rule of thumb, assume all cables are USB 2(480Mbps) unless otherwise mentioned. You can also assume 60W unless otherwise mentioned.
